Bug hunts at Forest School

• Search for and look closely at a range of insects and bugs beginning to comment on the colour, shape, size and some features like number of legs or wings. • Explore natural materials to create habitats for insects and bugs. • Meet real insects and bugs and notice where we found them. • Learn the life cycle of a butterfly through song, drama and visuals.

In The Hive we will be taking part in: • Make butterfly and bird feeders to hang in our Forest School and look after local wildlife.
