Spring Term 2024 Welcome to the Spring Term issue of our newsletter for all parents and carers across The Active Learning Trust. This term has truly flown by in what feels like three very short months. However, as always, I am hugely impressed by the wide range of activities and the progress our schools have packed into this time. A flavour of this is captured in the following pages and I hope you enjoy reading about our children and young people’s experiences as much as I have. One of my many personal highlights this term was being honoured to spend two wonderful days with around 200 of our Year 11 pupils and staff from Chantry Academy, Cromwell Community College and Neale-Wade Academy as part of our Year 11 project. The project aims to significantly raise English and Maths GCSE results across the Trust, within the project’s first year. To meet so many of the pupils whose lives we hope to transform with the help of this project was a wonderful experience and really embodied the ethos of the work we all do every day here at The Active Learning Trust.
