Blackpool Multi Academy Trust School Direct Alliance Who are we? Blackpool Multi Academy Trust is a partnership between three large urban primary schools (Anchorsholme Academy, Devonshire Primary Academy and Revoe Learning Academy) and Park Community Academy which is an outstanding special school for children and young people with complex learning difficulties. Our School Direct programme includes the schools within the MAT as well as a number of Blackpool Primary and Special Schools to form a School Direct Alliance. Why train with us? Our training will be delivered in partnership with the University of Cumbria. What are we looking for? We are looking for someone who has a passion for teaching, someone who enjoys a challenge and who puts children and their needs first. Entry Requirements Graduates should have a minimum 2:2 degree but preferably a 2:1 or higher. Experience Ideally you should have experience of working with children or young people in either a paid or voluntary capacity. Essential GCSE Grade 'C' minimum in Maths, English and Science. Selection Process Blackpool Multi Academy Trust School Direct Alliance will work in conjunction with the University of Cumbria to select suitable candidates to take through to our interview process. This will include initial safeguarding checks and whether candidates meet minimum entry requirements. Interview Process If selected for interview you will be invited to attend for an interview at one of the School Direct Alliance schools. The interview will consist of a written element, a mini teach and a formal interview. Full details will be provided once a candidate has been selected.
