Homework will be set on Thursdays and should be handed in by the following Tuesday.
There will be a homework club very lunchtime for children who prefer to complete their homework in school or need additional support. However, I must stress that homework assigned to your child is always based on the learning we have been doing in class that week, so they should be confident to work on the task independently.
On some occasions your child’s homework will be to focus on a task on bug club or Sumdog. If children do not have access to a computer at home they can attend a drop in session in the ICT suite which is available every lunch time.
If children do not return their homework by the following Tuesday, they will be expected to complete this during homework club.
In class we have a three strike policy- if children fail to hand in their homework three times within a half term, parents will be informed.
