18th July 2016 Dear Parent/Carer Mrs Andrea Hall As some of you may have heard, Mrs Hall has been successfully appointed to a new post at Whitehouse Community Primary School in Ipswich from January 2017. I know from the many comments I have received from my visits to Grove just how high a regard parents hold of Mrs Hall and the work she has undertaken to make Grove into the really great school it has become. I know we will all congratulate her and wish her well in this career development. As well as recognizing and celebrating the work done by Mrs Hall at Grove, I also wanted to write to reassure you that we will be seeking a new headteacher to join the school. This process will begin next term at a time when we feel we can best attract high quality candidates to carry forward the work that Mrs Hall and her great te am have carried out. Whilst the appointment of a headteacher is a matter that rests with the Trust, I can also assure you that representatives of the local governing body at the school will be closely involved in the appointment of Mrs Hall’s successor. It is important to recognise that we have Mrs Hall with us for the whole of next term and I hope we will have the opportunity to more formally celebrate her work before she leaves at Christmas. In the meantime, if you have any concerns, do contact Mrs Hall and we will certainly seek to ensure we deal with those concerns promptly. I want to reiterate that the Trust, the local governing body and the whole team at Grove remain committed to continuing to provide an excellent education for all pupils at the school.
