Parent evening in September. When to do this as we already have a meeting for STAT Sheffield.

Training – esafety committee to all attend, along with school staff

Final draft policy – WA, HR and MLR to look through the policy and finalise.

Student acceptable use policy – HS, OS and RA to finalise these in September. Involve Digital Leaders. Maybe the Marcou family.

Computing curriculum plan next year – HS reports on meeting with OS. National Curriculum not covered by IPC – other avenues to be used to teach next year. Possibly Rising Stars, possibly Espresso Coding. Timetabling to be completed so that laptops and iPads are available for use by all for computing lessons.

In response to action point 4 from last meeting – Thurs 19th November AM and PM safety talk to parents. 9:15am and 6.30pm. Esafety committee to attend. Digital Leaders to be involved.

In response to action point 6 – online resources to be researched and incorporated into esafety parents meeting

JB to contact 360safe about getting a trainer into school

Purchase encrypted memory sticks for staff to use. Make passwords the same as email password.

Have a look at 360safe action plan, see where we are, and make sure we are still working towards targets – with evidence that would suffice for Ofsted

Agenda to be emailed out the week before next meeting – WA and HR
Staff training to be delivered in September by OS and HS for both Key Stages. This is for TAs as well. Giving staff understanding of the key lingo in the new curriculum and putting up displays in class with these words. Digital Leaders – getting them to help with ensuring laptops and iPads are ready for teaching. This can be achieved once there is a timetable. DLs to lead ‘masterclasses’ after school. DW – would like to have more parent involvement. Could get Digital Leaders to write a blog/newsletter. Key targets for Computing/ICT – 1. Meet the new national curriculum 2. Make sure esafety needs are being met 3. Make sure that the resources are there to be able to deliver points 1&2
