2013 Santa Dash

Let’s have a School Bug Busting Day - TODAY

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who supported Mr and Mrs Fendle by sponsoring them to run this year’s Santa Dash in Liverpool. They completed 5K in under 40 minutes and have raised over £200 for the new Breakfast club starting in January.

The best way to combat head lice is if everyone checks for lice the Bug busting way at the same time, then we can help stop them from circulating! Using a head lice comb after washing your child’s hair, put conditioner on and comb through. If you find any lice in your child’s hair it will need to be treated. You can get this from your doctor or pharmacy.

HELP!!

Christmas Gift and Games Fair A huge thank you to all staff, parents, governors and pupils who worked so hard to make this year’s Christmas Fair a success! Especially Mrs Ball, her family and friends who have put in plenty of hours preparing all the items for the stalls. The school raised £700 which will go towards subsidising trips and enrichment activities over the coming year.

We are looking for a children’s age 10 boys 2 piece suit. If you have one could we possibly borrow it for our KS2 performance. Please drop it off in the office. Thank you!! ATTENDANCE

Winter Wonderland Safety Tips.     

Be careful that snowballs don’t have stones in them and don’t aim for someone’s face – this could really hurt someone. Help drivers see you by wearing something bright or fluorescent. Make sure you are wearing shoes with a good grip to help you avoid slipping on ice or in the snow. Wear a hat in cold weather as most body heat is lost through the head. If you go sledding, look for shallow slopes that are free of trees and away from roads.

We hope these tips will keep you all safe this winter. From Year 6 Lions.
