Reflection
After experiencing an adventure of a lifetime, I just want it back. Living in another country for an extended period of time and not in vacation mode, I absolutely fell in love with Berlin. The subway, the long walks, and hustle and bustle of urban life are all part of the experience. I loved the different attitude of the people and the way the sun rose at 4:00 am and set at 10:30 pm. Getting to experience Germany fully immersed and not in a history book changed my life. Now every so often I miss the chance to truly be me, walking down Kurfürstendamm in trendy clothes, cooking every night for my friends and looking at the view from my window every day. I have, possibly rashly, decided I want to spend even more time there, experiencing it for years, with a new perspective.
