Navya: The Book Thief by Markus Zuzak
A great book to read over winter break is The Book Thief. It’s about a girl named Liesel who lives in Germany during World War II and finds comfort in reading books she discovers and shares with others. The story is told by Death, which makes it very unique and memorable. It’s a powerful story about hope, friendship, and the strength of words during hard times.

Kirti: The Bear and the Nightingale by Katherine Arden
