Mission Effectiveness
Main Capabilities
ICE BREAKER is a complete, full-sphere solution countering various threats on land and at sea. It effectively strikes high-value targets with controlled and low collateral damage.
The missile utilizes an advanced, all-weather, electrooptical IIR seeker based on RAFAEL's innovative legacy of products and operationally-proven capabilities including scene-matching algorithms and ATR – Automatic Target Recognition.
The system complies with strict Rules of Engagement (ROE), allowing its autonomous capability to identify and engage only hostile targets.
The system can counter modern Integrated Air Defense System (IADS) deployments, relying on late detection due to its passive seeker, low-level terrain -following flight pattern, sea-skimming, and the VLO (Very Low Observable) of the missile.
A salvo attack capability enhances missile penetration against well-defended targets. The effective warhead, combined with selective and precise aimpoints, ensures the desired damage to the target from neutralization to destruction with reduced risk to uninvolved civilians in close proximity.
