2023 River & Ocean Cruise Guest Luggage & Travel Documentation FAQs What are the key changes? Beginning from March 2023 onward guests with river or ocean cruise bookings will: • receive an on board credit 50pp instead of luggage and travel accessories*; and • receive electronic rather than printed travel documentation, with all travel documentation becoming electronic in the next few months *Effective dates for the changes vary by product/brand as follows: • Scenic/Emerald Europe River Cruising – 1 March 2023 • Scenic/Emerald Asia River Cruising – 1 June 2023 • Scenic Eclipse – 1 April 2023 • Emerald Cruises Yacht Cruises – 28 March 2023
Why is Scenic/Emerald Cruises introducing these changes? Over recent years we have made significant changes to reduce our environmental impact, including the elimination of guest single-use plastics on board our ships, the introduction of reusable water bottles and a shift to emailing guest travel documentation. These changes are a continuation of that commitment to leaving as small a footprint as possible for future travel generations as part of global Scenic Group Cherish the Plant.
