Ways to Donate
Memories of happy holidays aren’t always a reality for parents like Sasha and David, who have two young girls and found themselves in a homeless shelter last year. For 8-year-old Aidan, who was removed from his home after suffering years of neglect, it won’t be a happy holiday season until he finds a safe and happy home with loving caregivers. St. Catherine’s Hope for the Holidays program offers a variety of ways you can help. From donating non-perishable items to feed children, families, and adults in need this Thanksgiving, to adopting a family to make their holiday season extra special, the opportunities to give back and make a difference are endless. Join us in transforming lives. Every gift counts and will directly impact the families and communities we serve. Click below to get started!

Program Spotlight
Columbia County Homeless Services
November is Homelessness Awareness Month, and we’re spotlighting our Columbia County Homeless Services Program! This free,12-month program, provides case management based on the Critical Time Intervention model, while also using a trauma-informed approach to support Columbia County residents who are currently unhoused and in need of critical support services.
Case managers play a crucial role in helping clients apply for subsidized housing, guiding them through the application process, and helping them optimize their income potential. After clients secure housing, case managers continue collaborating with them for a year to prevent eviction, using evidence-based practices like motivational interviewing, and providing comprehensive housing case management.
Housing adults, children, and families who are in need of emergency shelter at the Galvan Civic Motel, this program is proven to help individuals transition back into a stable life in the community after experiencing homelessness.
