Medication Safety Day with the Residential Program
For the second year in a row, thanks to the students at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, children in our Residential Program learned about a very important topic: medication safety!
The day started with a student-led presentation, filled with demonstrations and exciting science experiments. Then the children went around the gymnasium to various stations, including a table dedicated to separating “pills” that were different colored M&Ms and Skittles, filled out a personalized Medication Safety Book, and designed their very own medication canvas bag! Upon leaving, everyone received a “Medication Safety Expert” certificate. Year s o f Service

Room Makeovers at Byron House
We are sending a huge thank you to the Junior League of Albany for completing bedroom makeovers for the children at Byron House, a group home in our Residential program.
Each bedroom was catered to each child’s interests, equipped with new bedding, wall hangings, lights, rugs, and more, making the therapeutic environment where they recieve 24/7 care feel a little bit cozier and more personalized. When the children came home they were ecstatic!
Thank you to Pursuit Lending for transforming the bedrooms at Hubbard House, a group home in our Residential Program!
The children were thrilled to find new bedding, rugs, wall art, storage organizers, and more when they got back from their outing! Each room was made over with the child’s interests in mind, empowering them to be their best selves in a therapeutic environment.
