INTRODUCTION Hello, I’m Gabi Torkington your Cynefin RCT Place Coordinator, and have pleasure introducing this report. On 10 September we held our first our community placebased regeneration workshop with some great speakers and participants. We had a wide range of voices and views in our conversations at the workshop, and recorded as much as possible. This report is designed to share some of the visual minutes maps and videos from the event. I am collating the information from the table discussions. I am using people’s suggestions and ideas and working with people to coproduce our next actions and the way forwards. I will be contacting you again soon with the plan. Our next event is a 1 day ABCD - Asset Based Community Development - training course with Cormac Russell which we are co-hosting with Fran O’Hara from the ‘Working With Not To’ Co-Production project. it is being held on 25 November 2014 from 10.00am – 4.00pm, at the Conference Centre, University of South Wales, Pontypridd. Due to funding support from Rhondda Cynon Taff CBC we are able to provide a limited number of places FREE OF CHARGE for individuals from Rhondda Cynon Taff. The cost is £50.00 + VAT for public, private or third sector organisations and anyone else who is interested in attending.
