• Rights Measure – Due Regard – Embedded into Local Authority Constitution! Across whole Council • Children rights impact assessment • Education for all – around rights – all levels need to understand • Leadership – strong – informed – at all levels • C+YP need to be involved in the leadership process • Need to look at the wellbeing of C+YP in order to move forward • Continued Research (Evidence) • This will help not hinder! • Be the change – support • Inspectorate criteria on the progress + implementation of ‘due regard’ locally at all levels/services • Opportunities to celebrate locally + nationally • Making sure the UNCRC is not lost when commissioning services – “Tesco running the Youth Service” • Strengthen pupil voice/school council guidance legislation eg.
