Welcome to the nest! Nestled on the bucolic 100-acre campus of Stoneleigh-Burnham School (SBS), the SBS Middle School was founded in 2004 according to three guiding principles: 1. The School’s mission statement and the focus on international community, respect, authentic best self, and voice. 2. The research-based principles of successful middle schools – culture, curriculum, and leadership – according to the Association of Middle Level Education (AMLE) .

International and domestic students are welcome for 7-day boarding, 5-day boarding, and day enrollment options in the SBS Middle School (Grades 7 & 8).
Student Council (StuCo) begins in Middle School, with representation from both Grade 7 and Grade 8.
Riding, Dance, Cross Country, Soccer, Volleyball, Fitness, Musical Theatre, Basketball, Ultimate Frisbee, Softball, Tennis are available at the junior varsity or varsity level for all Middle Schoolers.
SBS’s Academic Learning Center is available to Middle School students with a dedicated and developmentally appropriate Middle School Skills program.
