Whether your junior is picking a club up for the very first time or aiming to compete at a regional level, our academy is here to help develop their skills and confidence in a supportive environment that celebrates effort, progress, and passion for the game.
We are proud to hold the GolfMark and ClubMark awards, both nationally recognised as benchmarks for providing a safe environment for junior golfers and maintaining the highest standards of safeguarding and duty of care.
THE ACADEMY MEMBERSHIP
Our Academy Membership is designed to give your young golfer everything they need to develop their skills and succeed in the sport.
As a member, your junior will receive:
Access to our two championship courses* – The Gainsborough and The Constable
Registration with England Golf
Auto-enrolment in the ClubV1 app – for booking tee times and accessing the club competition structure
Resort-wide discounts – including the Pro Shop, Sports Bar, and driving range
Weekly group coaching with a club professional – held on Saturdays and Sundays, year-round
Weekly JunAds tee times – juniors and adults playing together every Thursday from May to September

OUR COURSES AND CLUB APP
As a member of the Stoke by Nayland Golf Academy, your junior will enjoy unlimited year-round access to our two championship courses: The Gainsborough and The Constable.
These prestigious courses have hosted internationally renowned, televised events such as the European Seniors and PGA Europro Tours.
With a variety of tees designed to support development at every stage, unlimited access provides invaluable on-course experience, teaches essential course etiquette, and offers the perfect environment to hone their skills.
Whether playing alongside an adult to build confidence and technique, or enjoying rounds with fellow juniors to deepen their passion for the game, our courses strike the perfect balance of fun and challengeallowing every young golfer to progress comfortably at their own pace.
To ensure a positive and fair experience for all, children under 13 must be accompanied either by an adult golfer (with membership or green fee) or, if playing with other juniors, by an adult nongolfer acting as chaperone. This helps keep play moving smoothly while supporting their learning of proper course etiquette.
Our Academy Membership also includes automatic enrollment in our club app, enabling your junior to easily book tee times and participate in our club competition structure.
WEEKLY GROUP COACHING
Our team of PGA-qualified professionals are passionate about supporting the next generation of golfers. Through fun, engaging, and structured sessions, they help juniors build confidence, develop positive habits, and establish solid skills that will last a lifetime. Each session is designed to be both educational and enjoyable, ensuring that young players look forward to returning week after week.
Group coaching takes place every Saturday and Sunday throughout the year, giving juniors the chance to learn in a supportive environment alongside their peers. Parents consistently value the enthusiasm, encouragement, and professionalism our coaches bring to every session, helping to create an atmosphere where children thrive.
As an Academy Member, your junior will enjoy access to one group coaching session each week, as well as other coaching opportunities throughout the year.
JUNADS
To encourage our junior golfers to get out on the course and begin building their handicaps, we offer JunAds tee times throughout the summer months. These sessions allow non-member adult golfers to play a 9-hole round with their junior at a reduced green fee.
We introduce a fun, competitive element with prizes to help build confidence and engagement. Details and updates about JunAds will be communicated weekly via the academy communication app.
When: Thursdays from 5:15pm tee times, May through September
Format: 9 holes. Each junior must be accompanied by a golfing parent or guardian (non-members pay a £10 green fee), or chaperoned by a non-golfer when playing in a suitable junior 2 or 3-ball (no green fee required)
Requirements: Please arrive promptly for your booked tee time to ensure smooth play and fairness for all participants. After completing the 9 holes, submit your digital scorecard via the club app for accurate CDH recording
TOURNAMENTS
As part of your junior’s Academy Membership, the club handles their enrolment in regional tournaments suited to their age and ability.
These events provide an excellent opportunity for juniors to compete in a supportive environment while strengthening their sense of community and club spirit.
The tournaments we are partnered with include:
Golf Sixes League
Golf Nines League
Two months before each tournament begins, you’ll receive detailed information and an invitation to register. Ongoing communication and updates about the tournaments will be managed through the academy communication app.
JUNIOR MEET-UPS
Your junior receives free access to the club’s Summer Junior Meet-Ups, held throughout the school holidays.
These fun, action-packed days feature a 2-hour coaching session with a club professional, followed by a friendly 9-hole round, giving juniors the perfect chance to put their skills into practice while they’re fresh.
ANNUAL ACADEMY PRESENTATION FUN DAY
We believe it’s important to celebrate the hard work, dedication, and passion of our academy members. Our Annual Academy Presentation Fun Day also helps foster a strong sense of community and inclusivity among our juniors.
The day includes 9 holes of golf played with a parent or guardian, followed by pizza, drinks, and a lively presentation to recognise everyone’s progress.

PRICING
Beginner Sessions
Our total beginner sessions run during term time on Saturday mornings and are led by one of our PGA Professionals. These pay-as-you-go sessions offer a great taster for juniors to learn the basics before committing to an Academy Membership.
Age Range
Our academy welcomes juniors aged 7 to 16.
Academy Membership Options
Academy Practice & Play - £470 per year or £50 per month (plus £28.20 affiliation fee)
Academy Practice - £350 per year or £35 per month
Junior Membership Options
Should your junior want access to the courses without any of the academy benefits, we also offer Junior Golf Memberships:
Junior (ages 7-11) - £165 per year (plus £28.20 affiliation fee)
Youth (ages 12-16) - £270 per year (plus £28.20 affiliation fee)
Affiliation fees are taken in the first month for monthly payers and provide access to England Golf (EGU).
