MESSAGE FROM JOE DAMIANO
Team, We have successfully completed this year’s performance evaluations, and I thank everyone for their time and commitment to the process. These evaluations are an important tool for our firm, and benefit both our team members and Sax leadership in recognizing quality work and areas of improvement. This process also allows us to set clear expectations for the future, and ensure we are unified in our direction forward. On behalf of all Sax partners, I am very proud to announce the internal promotions of 20 team members, effective July 1, 2021. As the firm continues to grow, the promotion of our team members who demonstrate results and a positive work attitude strengthens the foundation of Sax in all areas. These rising leaders continue to align with the firm’s high standards and core values – Respect, Integrity, Commitment and Excellence – and we appreciate their hard work and dedication to our firm. RETURN TO OFFICE UPDATE
Effective Friday, May 28th, New Jersey lifted the mask mandate and social distancing requirements within indoor spaces. The state is asking for “personal responsibility” with regards to an individual’s safety and the safety of others. The CDC continues to recommend that only fully vaccinated people go maskless; private businesses may continue to require masks and social distancing. In light of NJ’s announcement, effective Friday, May 28th, Sax will not require fully vaccinated* team members to wear a mask in the Parsippany and Pennington office. Team members who are not fully vaccinated will still need to wear a mask and practice social distancing. If you have been vaccinated, or once you become fully vaccinated, it is required by our firm that you complete the Vaccine Reporting form and submit to HR. The Parsippany office building will no longer require vaccinated people to wear masks in the common area. Please comply with all building requirements. Additionally, if any of our team members would like to continue wearing masks, they of course may do so and everyone should respect that choice. We will be updating our protocols, which you should consult and can be found on SharePoint. Please see our updated Return to Office Guidelines for more information.
