Tyler graduated from Colorado State University with a B.A. in Accounting and continued his education in Accounting Taxation at the Metropolitan State University of Denver. He starts as a Tax Manager effective April 1st, 2022. Fun fact: Before college, Tyler was a personal trainer and enlisted in the Army National Guard.

Cang Vu Tax Associate Remote | 04.01.22

Cang graduated from California State University in Fullerton with a B.A. in Business Administration and Accounting. Effective April 1st, 2022, Cang starts as a Tax Associate for the Sax Team. Fun fact: Cang's short-term goal is to drive through all the 48 states, and there are only 18 states left to finish.

Corinne Sodano Client Support Associate Parsippany | 04.20.22

Grecia starts as a Client Service Assistant for Sax Wealth Advisors effective April 18th, 2022. Fun fact: Grecia used to be a flight attendant for JetBlue Airlines.

Corinne graduated from Morris County College with an Associate's in Business Administration. She starts as a Client Support Associate effective April 20th, 2022. Fun fact: Corinne loves to learn about different cultures, and wants to visit Portugal to see where her ancestors are from.

Julie graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree and Masters in Accounting. She starts as a remote Tax Manager effective April 21st, 2022. Fun fact: Julie played softball during her years at the University of South Carolina.

Jessica graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a degree in Accounting. She starts as a remote Senior Tax Manager effective May 2nd, 2022. Fun fact: Jessica is a mom to her 4 year old daughter. The beach is her favorite place to be!

Great Cards John Beckerle deserves a Great Card for excelling on a Consolidated Corp Client - including extensions and handling issues that came up during the process.

Alex Hoff deserves a Great Card for her work on implementing the McEntee Construction 401(k) Plan. This was not an easy lift and she worked with a lot of different parties to make it happen smoothly. The client was very appreciative and wanted to make sure her hard work did not go unnoticed.

Jamie Torres deserves a Great Card for her work with very complex private foundation returns.

Cyberattacks increasingly seem to target large-scale US infrastructure. The Biden administration has focused on shoring up US cyber defenses in recent months to protect against overseas attacks, including government entities and major businesses. But vulnerabilities always exist, and all it takes is one breach. Please be careful when reading your e-mail messages. This includes clicking on any weblinks or opening attachments of messages that look obviously bogus or suspicious. Please keep your Internet surfing habits to work-related websites. Prohibit downloading any applications, games, etc. Only access documents from Firm approved document portals, i.e., GoFileRoom, Client Portal, etc.

SUMMER FRIDAYS ARE BACK!

Beginning Friday, May 27 (Memorial Day Weekend) to Friday, September 2 (Labor Day Weekend), team members are able to participate in a 1:00 p.m. dismissal. All work must be completed and hours must be made up Monday-Thursday. Staff is still required to complete a minimum of 37.5 hours a week to be eligible.
