DRESS CODE POLICY Thank you for helping us maintain the standards and traditions of the Savannah Yacht Club.
CLUBHOUSE ATTIRE PERMITTED
1.Shirts and allowable footwear are required in ALL buildings with the exception on the pool deck. 2.Wet attire is not permitted in the Clubhouse at any time. 3.Tank tops on men, short shorts, and cutoffs are not permitted in the Clubhouse. T-shirts, shorts, and sandals are permitted in the Quarterdeck areas if they are in good repair and it is before 5 pm. After 5 pm, only Country Club Casual attire will be permitted. 4. Coverups and /or shirts are required at all times for ladies and gentlemen in and around outside clubhouse areas including the Cove Bar, patio and or pavilions.

5. Caps on gentlemen are to be removed while in the Clubhouse at all times. 6. “Dressy Casual” attire or better for Ladies and Gentlemen should be worn after 5:00 PM in the dining areas of the Quarterdeck. Acceptable denim is allowed and is defined as dress denim which will not be baggy, torn, tattered, or with slogans of any kind. Dress shorts are also acceptable. Please avoid wearing athletic wear, sweatshirts, t-shirts, and bathing suits and/or coverups in the Quarterdeck dining area.

SAILING 012 RC and SYC Staff,
D12 REGATTA RESULTS
We hosted a very successful Laser Regatta last weekend! The competitors complimented all aspects of the event-noting that they felt welcomed and plan to return-and the race management was excellent, as sailors have come to expect from the SYC. I want to extend a special thanks to the SYC staff: Marquis, Bryce and the dock staff, and Martin and Emily. You made hosting the regatta seamless. Thanks also to our out-of-town RC and Protest Committee. It was great having the Fosters and their beautiful signal boat on the water for the second year in a row. I truly appreciate you volunteering your weekend to help host such a great regatta. Thank you all! Charlie Usher, 012 Regatta Chairman
JUNIOR OPENING REGATTA (South Carolina Yacht Club)
Congratulations to our SYC Sailors who participated in Optimist RWB in Hilton Head: Cole Longley, Henry Leonard, Robert Kastick. Special congratulations to Cole who got 3rd overall in White Fleet, and 8th overall in RWB out of 31 sailors.
SUMMER CAMPS
We've just wrapped up our second session of sailing - and what a session it was! Our sailors were absolutely awesome, with great sailing, tons of fun, and so much learning along the way. A huge thank you to our incredible coaches who are doing an amazing job guiding everyone on the water. Your dedication makes all the difference.
