Dear Prospective Students and Families, Greetings from the Mountain and Happy Holidays! All of us here at SAS wish you a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful beginning to the New Year. In the passage below from A Charlie Brown Christmas, Linus sums up the true meaning of Christmas when Charlie Brown, as always, has botched up the school Christmas pageant by selecting a little tree that nobody wanted, as it sat all alone on the tree lot. Linus consoles Charlie Brown to assure him of the true meaning of the Day. The spirit and good heart of Charlie Brown always seems to inspire us, as does Linus below. And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. Enjoy your time with family and friends as all of us ponder together the true meaning of the season.
Happy Holidays from your SAS Admission Team, Robert S. Black Director of Enrollment
