However, ChatGPT’s free tier, which runs on GPT-3.5, is still available for free. If you don’t want to pay, there is an “unofficial” way to start using GPT-4 right away. Microsoft claims that the new Bing search interface, powered by GPT-4, is already live at bing.com/chat. Other organizations that have implemented GPT-4 include Duolingo and ed-tech giant Khan Academy. OpenAI acknowledges that GPT-4 has flaws and that the business is working to fix them.
