SANTA MARIA VALLEY CHAMBER MONTHLY NEWSLETTER YOU’RE INVITED TO NEXTGEN CEO’S BUSINESS LAUNCH DAY: MEET THE NEXT GENERATION OF CEOS On Thursday, May 22, the community is invited to celebrate the creativity, hard work, and innovation of local youth at the official Business Launch Day for the NextGen CEO program. This exciting event, taking place 4-6 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Club of Mid Central Coast’s Railroad Clubhouse, marks the culmination of a dynamic nine-week business education course designed especially for sixth-grade students. NextGen CEO is a hands-on program that introduces students to the world of entrepreneurship in a way that is fun, engaging, and tailored to their learning level. Over the past six weeks, participants have been learning what it takes to be their own boss. From developing their first business ideas to understanding cost models and customer service, each student has been hard at work building their own small business from the ground up.
