MISSION

To promote Santa Fe as a world-class culinary destination and to educate people about Santa Fe restaurants and wine, to support the food, wine and service education of Santa Fe restaurant staff and the food education of local children (by SF chefs) in serving, cooking, and eating healthy foods so these groups have the chance to become future culinary leaders.

CHARITABLE GIVING & EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES

Santa Fe Wine & Chile supports the local restaurant community through Wine 101 & 201 courses and funding certifications via the Court of Master Sommeliers, benefiting over 300 students with certifications and classes, with a total of $225K in educational investments to date.

For the past 16 years, the Live Auction & Culinary Classic has raised more than $380,000 for Cooking with Kids, a program dedicated to empowering children with hands-on nutrition education and teaching them to make healthy food choices.

Santa Fe’s top chefs volunteer as Superchefs, inspiring students by sharing the joy of cooking and eating real food.

Last year’s programming was a strong success, featuring standout experiences such as the Ghost Ranch tour, two scenic Sky Train excursions, and interactive wine seminars and culinary tastings.

Two unique train tours on Tuesday and Wednesday offer scenic Santa Fe views paired with incredible wines poured by expert sommeliers.

Rosé All Day Walk-around Event

An afternoon at Bishop’s Lodge tasting a curated selection of Rosé wines from around the world, paired with small bites in a relaxed, social setting.

Drink Pink Wine Seminar

A guided tasting of global rosé wines led by Wanda Mann, exploring diverse styles, pairings, and the stories behind each wine.

GRAND TASTING

The Grand Tasting is a highlight of the Santa Fe Wine & Chile Fiesta, held on the scenic lawn at Magers Field. The event features over 80+ wines from around the world and an array of culinary creations from more than 65 Santa Fe restaurants and culinary partners.

Guests can enjoy live music and take in the delicious scents from grilling stations and chile roasters. This vibrant celebration offers a unique opportunity to explore both local and international flavors in the heart of Santa Fe.

Gold Pass, granting early entry for 500 ticket holders, offering 30 extra minutes to experience the event before it opened to the public. It’s was the perfect way to kick off a weekend filled with flavors and entertainment.

CHILE FRIDAY

New Mexico Chile has deep roots in our state, shaping our culture and cuisine. At this walkaround event, enjoy bites from 30 Santa Fe restaurants, fresh roasted chiles, and margaritas featuring tequilas like Don Fulano, Don Julio, Herradura, and Patrón. You’ll also find local New Mexican wines, ciders, and craft beers. Enjoy live music, browse local artisans, and attend demos showcasing the best chile-inspired dishes. It’s a true celebration of flavor and tradition!

AUCTION & CULINARY CLASSIC

The Live Auction Luncheon begins with a toast to the Santa Fe Wine & Chile Fiesta’s Champagne of the Year. Guests will then enjoy a five-course meal crafted by top chefs, paired with exceptional wines.

The SFWCF Winery of the year will introduce the featured wines, while the auctioneer leads the Live Auction, offering rare wines, unique dining experiences, and exclusive trips to support the Fiesta’s culinary arts programs.

To enhance the guest experience, we also hosted a Super Silent Auction with special wine lots.

COOKING DEMOS

Our talent featured an exceptional lineup of chefs, each bringing their expertise to life in an intimate culinary demo experience. Guests will engage directly with the chefs as they prepare dishes live, receiving personalized tips and advice in this exclusive setting with seating for just 60. Each demo is paired with carefully selected wines, and an expert guide will lead you through the tasting experience.

Each year, our guest sommeliers, presenters, and wine educators host engaging and informative seminars, exploring topics like wine trends, regions, glassware, and pairings. Whether you're a professional in the industry, a passionate collector, or someone looking to deepen your wine knowledge, these 60-minute seminar sessions offer the perfect opportunity to taste, learn, and exchange insights while tasting a selection of interesting wines.
