Love is in the air! Check out our Valentine’s Day activities. As I have stated many times, every day is “show your love” day, but Valentine’s Day is always fun. Make it special. School is back into swing after the holidays. Are the kids keeping up with homework? If they need extra help, tutoring services and educational apps might hit the mark. I wish I had learned a second language as a child. My mom and dad understood German, but didn’t speak it so it wasn’t in the house. If you come from a multi-language speaking home, keep it up with your own children. Find many immersion schools and Saturday classes on page 20. It’s Black History Month. Turn to page 16 to help with the celebration, including a list of Black-owned restaurants. Don’t forget to follow the Winter Olympics, starting Feb. 4.
