After years of operating in neighboring South OC towns, Sol Agave this past year finally brought its upscale Mexican cuisine to San Clemente, opening a new location in downtown, and it has not disappointed. Those who have visited Sol Agave already know that two of its specialties are hand-crafted cocktails—especially the margaritas—and the famous carnitas. “Pork that we roast for about five hours, and you can taste the quality,” Operations Manager Benjamin Avina describes.
