24 This is it that belongeth unto the Levites: from twenty and five years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the service of the tabernacle of the congregation: {to...: Heb. to war the warfare of, etc} 25 And from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting upon the service thereof, and shall serve no more: {cease...: Heb. return from the warfare of the service} 26 But shall minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of the congregation, to keep the charge, and shall do no service. Thus shalt thou do unto the Levites touching their charge.
23 And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying, 24 This also belongeth to the Leuites: from fiue and twentie yeere olde and vpwarde, they shall goe in, to execute their office in the seruice of the Tabernacle of the Congregation. 25 And after the age of fiftie yeere, they shall cease from executing the office, and shall serue no more: 26 But they shall minister with their brethre in the Tabernacle of the Congregation, to keepe things committed to their charge, but they shall doe no seruice: thus shalt thou doe vnto the Leuites touching their charges.
And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying, 2 Let the children of Israel also keep the passover at his appointed season. 3 In the fourteenth day of this month, at even, ye shall keep it in his appointed season: according to all the rites of it, and according to all the ceremonies thereof, shall ye keep it. {at even: Heb. between the two evenings} 4 And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, that they should keep the passover. 5 And they kept the passover on the fourteenth day
And the Lord spake vnto Moses in the wildernes of Sinai, in the first moneth of the second yeere, after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying, 2 The children of Israel shall also celebrate the Passeouer at ye time appointed thereunto. 3 In the fourtenth day of this moneth at euen, ye shall keepe it in his due season: according to all the ordinances of it, and according to all the ceremonies thereof shall ye keepe it. 4 Then Moses spake vnto the children of Israel, to celebrate the Passeouer. 5 And they kept the Passeouer in the fouretenth day of the first moneth at euen in the wildernesse of
ֵאת֙ם ָ ּשׁ ִ֜נית ְלצ ֵ ּשׁנָ֙ה ַה ָ ְהו֣ה אֶל־מ ֶ ֹׁ֣שה ְבמִדְ ּבַר־ ֠ ִסינַי ַּב ָ ַוי ְדַ ֵ ּ֣בר י אׁשֹון לֵאמֹֽר׃ ֖ מ ֶ ֵ֧א ֶרץ ִמצ ַ ְ֛רי ִם ּב ַ֥ח ֹדֶ ׁש ה ִָר ְויַע ֲׂ֧שּו ְבנֵי־יִׂש ְָראֵ ֛ל אֶת־ה ָ ַּ֖פסַח ּבְמֹועֲדֽ ֹו׃2 ְַארּב ָ ָ֣עה ע ָָׂשֽר־י֠ ֹום ּב ַ֙ח ֹדֶ ׁש ַה ֶּ֜זה ֵ ּ֧בין הָ ֽע ְֲרּבַ ֛ י ִם ּתַ ע ֲׂ֥שּו ְ ּב3 ׁשּפ ָ ָ֖טיו ּתַ ע ֲׂ֥שּו א ֹתֽ ֹו׃ ְ א ֹ֖תֹו ּבְמֹוע ֲ֑דֹו ְּככָל־חֻּק ָֹת֥יו ּו ְככָל־ ִמ ַוי ְדַ ּבֵ ֥ר מ ֶ ֹׁ֛שה אֶל־ּבְנֵ ֥י יִׂש ְָר ֵ ֖אל ַלע ֲׂ֥ש ֹת הַּפָ ֽסַח׃4 ׂש֙ר יֹ֥ום ל ַ֛ח ֹדֶ ׁש ָ ְַאר ָּבעָה֩ ָע ְ אׁשֹון ּב ֡ ַוּיַע ֲׂ֣שּו אֶת־ ַה ֶּ֡פסַח ּב ִָר5 And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness ׁשה ֶ ֔ ֹ ׁש֙ר צ ִָּו֤ה י ְהוָה֙ אֶת־מ ֶ ִינ֑י ֠ ְּככ ֹל ֲא ָ ּבֵ ֥ין ָהע ְַר ַ ּ֖בי ִם ְּבמִדְ ַ ּ֣בר ס of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after ּכֵ ֥ן ע ָׂ֖שּו ּבְנֵ ֥י יִׂש ְָראֵ ֽל׃ they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying, ׁש֙ר ָהיּ֤ו ְט ֵמאִים֙ ל ֶ ְ֣נפֶׁש ָאדָ֔ ם וְֹלא־יָכְל֥ ּו ֶ ׁשים ֲא ִ ֗ ָ ַוי ִ ְ֣הי ֲאנ6 2 Moreover let the children of Israel keep the passoַלעֲׂש ֹת־ה ֶ ַּ֖פסַח ַּבּיֹ֣ום ה ַ֑הּוא וַ ּֽיִק ְְר ֞בּו ִלפְנֵ ֥י מ ֶ ֹׁ֛שה ְו ִלפְנֵ ֥י ַאה ֲ֖ר ֹן ver in its appointed season. ַּבּיֹ֥ום ַההּֽוא׃ 3 In the fourteenth day of this month, at even, ye shall keep it in its appointed season: according to all ָאדם ֑ ָ ַ֠וּי ֹאמְרּו ָה ֲאנ ִ ָׁ֤שים ה ֙ ֵָהּמָה֙ ֵא ָ֔ליו אֲנַ ֥חְנּו ְטמ ִ ֵ֖אים ל ֶ ְ֣נפֶׁש7 the statutes of it, and according to all the ordinances ָ ֣לּמָה נִּג ַָ֗רע ְל ִבל ְִּת֙י ַהק ְִ֜רב אֶת־ק ְָר ַ ּ֤בן י ְהוָה֙ ּב ְ֣מ ֹע ֲ֔דֹו ּב ְ֖תֹוְך ּבְנֵ ֥י thereof, shall ye keep it. יִׂש ְָראֵ ֽל׃ 4 And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, that ְהו֖ה ָ ׁש ְמ ָ֔עה מַה־יְצ ֶַּו֥ה י ְ וַּיֹ֥אמֶר ֲאל ֶ ֵ֖הם מ ֶ ֹׁ֑שה ִעמ ְ֣דּו ְו ֶא8 they should keep the passover. לָכֶ ֽם׃ פ 5 And they kept the passover in the first month, ְהו֖ה אֶל־מ ֶ ֹׁ֥שה ּלֵאמֹֽר׃ ָ ַוי ְדַ ּבֵ ֥ר י9 on the fourteenth day of the month, at even, in the wilderness of Sinai: according to all that the LORD ֵאמ ֹר ִ ֣איׁש ִ ֣איׁש ּכִי־י ִ ְה ֶי ֽה־ט ֵ ָ֣מא׀ ֑ ּדַ ּבֵ ֛ר אֶל־ּבְנֵ ֥י יִׂש ְָר ֵ ֖אל ל10 commanded Moses, so did the children of Israel. ָל ֶ֡נפֶׁש א ֹ֩ו ב ְֶד ֶ֙רְך ְרח ֹ ָ֜ק ֗ה ָל ֶ֗כם ֚אֹו לְד ֣ ֹר ֹתֵ י ֶ֔כם ו ָ ְ֥עׂשָה ֶ ֖פסַח 6 And there were certain men, who were unclean לַיהוָ ֽה׃ by the dead body of a man, so that they could not ָׂשר יֹ֛ום ּבֵ ֥ין ָהע ְַר ַ ּ֖בי ִם יַע ֲׂ֣שּו ְ ּשׁ ִ֜ני ּב ֵ ּב ַ֙ח ֹדֶ ׁש ַה11 ֥ ָ ְַאר ָּב ֙ ָעה ע keep the passover on that day: and they came before of meeting: 25 and from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting upon the work, and shall serve no more; 26 but shall minister with their brethren in the tent of meeting, to keep the charge, and shall do no service. Thus shalt thou do unto the Levites touching their charges.
