The First Wave: For your first 2 referrals, receive a 15% credit of the Entrance Fee for each new Member.

The Second Wave: For your next 2 referrals, the reward climbs to a 20% credit of the Entrance Fee for each new Member.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Credits are non-transferable & not exchangeable for cash. Any credits given are not refundable upon cessation of Membership. Extended solely to existing Active Members of SAF Yacht Club.

Credit can only be used to offset payments reflected in the monthly Statement of Account (SOA).

Credits will be issued to Recommender in the next billing cycle upon approval of MGM reward by the Club and upon full Entrance Fee payment received from the New Recommended Member. MGM reward is not claimable if the recruit signed up under a Membership promotion and reward will be forfeited should there be any existing payment with the Club under the Recommender’s account. SAF Yacht Club (“the Club”) reserve the right to amend the terms and condition at any time without prior notice or consultation.

There is a unique kind of magicthathappenswhenthe sunrisesoverthemarina, but on 31 Jan 2026, theheartofthe actionwasn’tonthewater it wasinthesoil. Ourdedicated Members and staff gathered together for a day of Charity Farm session It was truly a morning to remember: a vibrant blend of gardening, teamwork, andthesimplejoy ofgivingback

While SAFYC is often defined by the adrenaline of a competitive race, this session servedasareminderthatourClubisanall-roundedcommunity. Beyondthesails, our heart beats for sustainability and nurturing a space where every Member can find a senseofpurpose.

The "Seed" of an Idea

We spoke with Ms Aimee Lim, one of the Charity Farm founding Members, to ask what "sparked" the realisation that our Club needed a farm instead of moreboatstorage

This session was a testament to the fact that SAFYC is more than just a recreationalmarinaspot Weareafamilythatgrowstogether– quiteliterally! We didn't just harvest vegetables; we cultivated friendships and strengthened our commitmenttothecommunitybysharingtheharvestedproducetoSembawang CCfordistributiontoourneedyneighbours.

"This is something that can be ‘harvested’ at the farm but is not able to be ‘seen’ in photos," Ms. Aimee explains. Whether it involves packing the greens or delivering themtobeneficiaries, theexperiencerewardseveryoneinvolvedwithadeepsenseof fulfilmentandcontribution.

MeetJojoLin,ourSeniorFinanceExecutivewhohasbeen a cornerstone of the SAFYC team for over 3 years. While sheistheexpertnavigatingourfinancialoperations,Jojo is far from just a "numbers person". She brings a meaningful blend of precision and a playful energy spirit toourClubcommunity.

No 2 days are the same. A typical day may involve reviewing accounts, following up onpayments,respondingtoqueriesfromdifferentdepartments,liaisingwithauditors, or looking into matters that require clarification. There’s a mix of analysis, communication,andplanningthatkeepsmeonmytoes.

I’d choose the ability to pause time — just long enough to observe carefully, analyse thesituation,andresolveissueswithclarityandprecision.Italignsquitewellwithmy ISTPpersonality:practical,analytical,andhands-on.

4.Whatkindofhobbiesandinterestsdoyouhaveoutsideofwork?

I still do backup singing at Church worship service, which I really enjoy. I used to spend more time on board games and karaoke, but these days, most of my hobby time is spent exploring the latest, most fun playgrounds in Singapore with my kids — amixofadventure,laughter,anddiscoveringnewwaystohavefuntogether!”

6.What’syourbiggestachievementsofarinlife?

People usually see me as calm and serious at work, but I actually have a playful, adventurous side. For example, I’m terrified of roller coasters, yet I’m often the one asking for another round after the first ride—my friends find it hilarious, and I just laughalongwiththem.It’salittlewayIturnfearintofunandembracelife’ssurprises.

I don’t think of my life in terms of big achievements, but I feel proud of maintaining balance—nurturingmyfamily,keepingpersonalgrowthgoing,andstayinggrounded in my faith. It’s the little wins in daily life that matter most: being present, learning fromchallenges,andstayingconsistentwithwhatIvalue.
