Paul Marino is a partner in the Financial Services and Corporate groups. Paul focuses his practice in matters concerning financial services, corporate law and corporate finance. Mark Bahiri co-founded Emerald Creek Capital and serves as Co-Chairman of its Investment Committee in addition to managing debt origination and the administration of the firm’s loan portfolio.

Prior to co-founding Emerald Creek in 2009, Mr. Bahiri spent four years at Madison Realty Capital. As a Senior Partner at Madison, he originated and managed a credit portfolio of over $350 million. Mr. Bahiri served on the Loan Committee and was responsible for analyzing, structuring and ultimately, approving each transaction. He began his career managing both family and accredited investor funds in senior secured debt financing, working at a privately held asset management firm.

Mr. Bahiri’s investment strategies and preservation of capital approach have yielded consistent, positive returns throughout his career. In total, he has been directly involved in the structuring, servicing and closing of over $4 billion in alternative debt issuance.

Mr. Bahiri graduated with honors from Champlain College with a B.S. in Business and Finance. He lives on Long Island with his wife and two children. Mr. Bahiri is a die-hard Knicks fan and enjoys playing tennis.

In June of 2024, Glenn celebrates his 35th year in banking…Starting as a Management Trainee for Manufacturers Hanover Trust, he navigated the mergers first with Chemical Bank and then Chase Manhattan. Along the way, he experienced all facets of Retail and Commercial Banking, acting as a Branch Manager, Regional Service Manager and Regional Manager for the RMs in the Manhattan Region.

In June of 2006, he made the decision to join Signature bank, then only 6 years old. He was enticed by the Single Point of Contact Model and lack of bureaucracy that allowed him to service his clients the way they had come to expect. Along the way, he and partner Eric Ende, grew the teams balances in excess of $3B. His clients include Qualified Intermediary’s for 1031 Exchanges, Private Equity Firms, Charter Schools, Real Estate Property Managers and Developers, Not for Profits and Construction Companies.
