The hungry ghost festival Hong Kong When? Every July 15 of the lunar calendar the ghosts go for a caulk throughout China. This is the day of the dead for them.
What? This festival isn't a tribute to the dead relatives, but also rituals are performed for the ¨vagabonds¨ spirits. The rituals consist of living offerings, nostly foad, such as raw noodles, and fruits.
Where? This paper is made of gold and represents earthly goods, it is important to make the offering outside the home, otherwise the spirits could pass into the homes and cause chaos.

Day of Dracula
This celebratation happens in Transylvania, Romania. The festival is celebrated in the castle of Transylvania, the Day of Dracula in a very old tradition. Information abaut the castle:
It is a very well preserved medieval mansion, which is 25 kilometers northeast of Brasov in Bran. Around it, there is an aura of mystery and legend around the myth of Bram Stoker's «Dracula», this imposing mansion is a must-see for those who follow the Dracula Route through Transylvania. Built on top of a 200 meter high rock, Dracula's Castle is expectacular with its towers . Stoker didn´t know Transylvania, the Irish writer relied on research and his imagination to create the place where the character of Count Dracula lived, that looked like this mansion.

Day of the dead(Mexico) In Mexico the day 4th of november is celebrated as the day of the dead . They believed the doors the Gate of Heaven open at 12 midnight and the dead return with their family for 24 hours.
This celebration is celebrated at home and they make a holiday bread called “pan de muerto” (bread of the dead) .They eat hot chocolate and different types of sweets.
This holiday is World Heritage for the unesco; typical tradition and ornament are: the skulls,the poems,furnished offerings.

THE DAY OF DEATHS In México and in some parts of Latino América in November 1st and 2st is celebrated The day of deaths to honor those familiar spirits.In the night of October 31 the people believe that the gates of the heavens are opened and the souls of the childrens come back to the Hearth to stay 24 h with his families and the 2 of November the souls of the adults return to the Hearth.
In the houses the people make an altar with things that used to like to his familiars and one bread called “Pan de Muerto” for the weary ghosts. For the childrens there are candies and toys and for the adults there are cigarettes and shots of mezcal.
Also the people put “Jacks o lantern” in their houses to scare away the bad spirits and suits like demons, skeletons, spirits… And the childrens go to some houses saying “trick or treat” and the people give them candys.

In early November,the people visit the cementeries and graves of their family members, the holiday is celebrate with candles, flowers, and an offerings.
On the second day, people attend a requiem mass for the souls of the dead.

Few names have cast more terror into the human heart than Dracula. The legendary vampire, created by author Bram Stoker in his 1897 novel of the same name, There are a number of inclusive packages and guides on a Romania trip;that offer tours and parties at Count Dracula’s castle for Halloween.
Halloween is a popular feast celebrated on 31st october. Halloween means holy(Hallow) evening (een). Halloween’s evening is before the Christian Holy day of all Saints day and halloween is older than christianity(They remember the day of Saints but no halloween). Also, before c hristianity, , people in Europe believed that on October 31st ghosts of dead people came back and to scare the ghosts, they dressed like devils. Nowadays, people don't believe in ghosts, but they enjoy it on the day of halloween… They wear customs of halloween and they go to houses and say “trick or treat” to ask for sweets.
It is celebrated on the 15th day of the seventh lunar month and it is celebratesd around mid-August to mid-September. This festival serves to worship ancestors. Other festivals with the same characteristics are the Spring Festival, the Qing-ming Festival and the Double Ninth Festival. On this festival, the people believe that the ghosts are restless and they roam in the world. Then, these people “feed” these ghosts with food and money because they need it for the afterlife. Also, the people burn carefully crafted origami-like paper gifts, and these crafted origami-like paper gifts resemble everything like the clothes, designer bags, even fast food and electronics. Besides that, the town smells burning.
