ARCHITECTURE PROCESS, PORTFOLIO & TEAM INTRODUCTION
We define the scope, budget, and character of the project, as well as the scope of our services and our fee. We prepare a program and description of the work and include an organized portfolio of images that help capture and define the vision for the project.
We hold a series of meetings to review and discuss drawings and proposed design solutions, working to arrive at a clearly defined concept, schedule, and construction budget. From there we prepare schematic design drawings and character renderings that illustrate the vision for the project. Selection of a builder by this phase is encouraged and can be facilitated by RSA.
Our team works out a clear, coordinated description of all aspects of the design. Drawings created at this point become the basis for construction documents to follow. Documentation deepens in specificity and detail and includes comprehensive detail for all aspects of the project including any necessary material and equipment selections. RSA engages and coordinates all consultants and a general contractor while also coordinating materials for permit and architectural review as required.
We prepare all necessary drawings, documentation and complete specifications manual that outline general requirements and standards for construction services, systems, equipment, and workmanship required to produce the work.
Decisions on design details, materials, products, finishes, and the many fine points of bidding and construction documentation all serve to reinforce the design and begin the process of translating the design into reality.
RSA’s Interior Design department assists in selecting all of the materials and finishes to complete the design vision. If desired, we will also select everything needed to furnish the spacefrom furniture to light fixtures, door hardware to linens. We are equally organized, strategic, and motivated. We strive to create bespoke one of a kind, timeless and authentic interior architecture & design with an emphasis on craft, substance & materiality. Ryan created RSA in 2001 to design bespoke, one of a kind, timeless and authentic architecture with an emphasis on craft, substance & materiality. Environments that satisfy the human need for wellbeing, variety and exceptional experiences. He leads the firm’s design efforts on projects spanning from hospitality, resort and club planning, architecture and design, to custom residential homes for high-profile clients across the US.
ERAN MONTOYA
Senior Associate & Architect, AIA
Eran is RSA’s lead registered Architect and has over 20 years experience in the planning and development of hospitality, club, community, and residential projects of varying scales. He oversees a team of 10 project managers and production designers.
MELINDA LEHMAN Chief Operating Officer & Architect
With 25+ years experience in commercial and residential architecure, Melinda manages all company business aspects including strategic planning, proposal development, and the alignment of operations, financials, and staff development.

Office Manager & New Client Liaison
With office management experience in high-end commercial and residential architecture, Beth manages all daily office operations and leads RSA’s efforts related to client experience including external communications and new client inquiries.
ZACH MOSS
Associate & Senior Project Designer
With a Master of Architecture from Louisiana Tech University, Zach brings 20 years of residential design experience to RSA, including his time at the firm. He works closely with Ryan on schematic design and contributes to many of the firm’s signature projects.

Design Manager & Architect
With over 25 years of worldwide hospitality design experience at Rosewood, Hyatt & Equinox Hotel Groups, Kip manages the design team at RSA and is our senior project manager.

Development
Ashley leads all marketing and business development efforts for RSA, including coordinating photography of completed projects, running social media accounts, and managing public relations outreach, while also maintaining client relationships and developing business in new markets.
JENNIFER SISSOM
Lead Interior Designer
Jennifer leads and manages the Interior Design team for Ryan Street Architects. She received her academic training in interior design and studio art, and specializes in hospitality, resort, and club design, as well as custom residences for high-profile clients.
