With 2020 being a very different year for everyone, the world was faced with hurdles and challenges that were beyond our wildest imagination. With a tremendous appreciation for our frontline workers, we gave back to our community with donations to hospitals in an effort to help curve the spread. With keeping true to our promise to make homeowners dreams come true, we adapted our sales model and our clients proved that we can stand together, even when standing 6 feet apart. We all figured out how to keep connecting, living, working, playing and making dreams come true.

In January, we started to plan out our year. It’s always an exciting time – looking ahead to a new year of designing and building communities. It was also time for many of our homeowners, who had purchased a home in the past year, to schedule a decor appointment and select finishes that would personalize their new home.

Paradise Developments is excited to announce that we have been working on an exciting project in Toronto! Located adjacent to our head office, we have started our planning process for a 39-storey mixed-use building for both rental living and office space. We cannot wait to share more details with you in 2021!

FIRST BUILDER TO HOLD A VIRTUAL SALES EVENT
With a late winter campaign prepared, with eager homeowners ready to purchase at our Brampton New Home Ultimate Sales Event, March brought on many restrictions to gatherings with the public. In an effort to keep our communities safe, and to keep the dream of homeownership for our purchasers, we adjusted our sales process to bring purchasing homes available through virtual appointments. Our sales team was able to provide that personal touch even though we couldn’t meet with homebuyers in person and we helped dozens of families find their dream home.

SUPPORTING OUR FRONTLINE HEALTH CARE WORKERS
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to do our part to help frontline health care workers and our community. In response to the immediate need for protective equipment, Paradise Developments donated over 100,000 medical masks to community hospitals throughout the GTA including William Osler-Brampton Civic Hospital, Peel Memorial Health Centre, Mackenzie Health, York Region, North York General Hospital, Toronto and Markham Stouffville Hospital.

VIRTUAL LAUNCH OF OUR LUXURY EXECUTIVE SERIES IN KLEINBURG

Our Presentation Centres continued to be closed due to the pandemic, but we connected with all of our homebuyers virtually, ensuring that all purchasers received the same dedication and care that they would when meeting with our sales staff. With our Executive Series Sales Event for New Kleinburg, with a brand-new release of 50’ & 60’ custom luxury homes, we were able to assist homeowners with the purchase of their dream homes safely and successfully.

NEW RELEASE OF TOWNS AND DETACHED HOMES AT WHITBY MEADOWS

With a new release of Towns and 30’ & 36’ Detached Homes in Whitby, our main focus continued to be the safety of purchasers, staff and our communities. This master-planned community has been a very popular choice with new families, and we were pleased to be able to connect with purchasers from the comfort of their homes during a virtual sales event to continue to bring happy homeowners to Whitby.

Another highly anticipated new release in Whitby was a great success this past July. At Park Vista in Whitby Meadows, we launched a safe and virtual new release of 30’ and 36’ singles which elicited a tremendous response from new home buyers. Our sales team continued to offer excellent customer service, meeting with clients virtually and helping them find the right home for their family.

2020 NEW KLEINBURG WINS AT BILD!
Paradise Developments won the Best Sales Office award for our New Kleinburg Presentation Centre during the annual Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD) Awards. The Presentation Centre was a beautiful representation of the custom luxury detached homes in this prestigious location. Impeccably designed with a double door entry, welcoming foyer and soaring 12’ ceilings, the Presentation Centre features a breathtaking model home to allow potential buyers to experience the finishes included in a Paradise home.

An exclusive enclave of brand new 40’ and 44’ homes was released at New Kleinburg this Fall. Homebuyers were excited to see this new offering in our well-known community in this amazing location. With only an exclusive amount of lots available, our new homeowners who purchased virtually were beyond pleased to secure their lots and choose the home of their dreams.
