Getting to know God means getting to know ourselves. The more we know who God is the more we know who we are The Gospel of John records several declarations of Jesus known as the “I Am” sayings This 6-week will help you find and form an answer to the most essential question in the Christian faith, "Who do you say I am? "One by one, Jesus’ statements grab our imagination, reveal more about his identity and purpose, and connect us to the God of Moses, who spoke the first “I Am.” These significant yet ordinary images (bread, light, shepherd, vine, and more) give us insightful ways to experience Jesus and point us to a God who wants to be known

Virtual reality (VR) is a technology that uses computer-generated environments to immerse you in a fully digital world that feels real Instead of just looking at a screen, you wear a headset that surrounds your vision and often includes sound and sometimes touch so you feel like you’re inside the experience.
How it works
VR relies on a few key components:
Head-mounted displays (headsets): Devices like the Meta Quest 3 or PlayStation VR2 that cover your eyes and track your head movements
Motion tracking: Sensors that follow where you look and move, updating the virtual world in real time
Controllers or hand tracking: Let you interact with objects, pick things up, or navigate What it feels like
When you turn your head, the environment moves with you If you look down, you might see a virtual floor or even a completely different body This creates a strong sense of presence, making your brain feel like you’re actually there.
Common uses
VR goes far beyond gaming:
Education: Students can explore historical sites or complex science concepts
Training: Pilots, doctors, and workers practice in safe, simulated environments
Healthcare: Used for therapy, pain management, and rehabilitation
Social & work: Virtual meetings and shared spaces
Why it matters:
At its core, VR is powerful because it can change perspective—literally. For example, projects like Dr David Shin’s use VR to help teachers see the classroom from a student’s point of view, building empathy and improving communication

David Shin, a Middle School science teacher at St Christopher’s School, arned his EdD by exploring empathy in classrooms using virtual reality. Over three years, he captured classroom lessons with 360-degree cameras, nabling educators to experience a typical day from the students' perspective through VR headsets.
