As 2026 began, Literary Week opened a vibrant celebration of stories and ideas, inviting learners to experience reading beyond the page. Throughout the week, books came alive through imagination, creativity, interactive activities, conversations, performances, and playful experiences that nurtured curiosity and a love for reading.
Literary Week encouraged learners to find wonder in words, meaning in stories, and connections that inspired reflection and expression.
THE CAMPUS WAS FILLED WITH CURIOSITY AND QUIET EXCITEMENT. LEARNERS WERE DRAWN INTO BOOKS AND INSPIRED BY THE SHARED JOY OF READING TOGETHER.

As part of Literary Week, the campus came alive with words and wonder as we warmly welcomed author and educationist Merlyn Franklin for a special storytelling session with our learners.
Reading aloud from her own book, she wove magic through expressive narration and heartfelt interactions, effortlessly drawing the children into the world of the story.



K5 CAMPUS
Learners from Grades 4 and 5 confidently led a special storytelling session for Early Years learners. Through carefully chosen stories, expressive voices, and animated gestures, they created a world filled with imagination and wonder.
The younger learners listened with curiosity and excitement, fully engaged in the storytelling experience. AT THE SAME TIME, THE OLDER LEARNERS EMBRACED THE RESPONSIBILITY OF BEING STORYTELLERS, DEVELOPING CONFIDENCE AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS.
This meaningful interaction reflected the true spirit of Literary Week by fostering a love for reading, encouraging creativity, and strengthening connections across age groups within the learning community






The workshop on Positive Discipline, conducted for our educators was engaging and insightful.
She effectively connected the principles of positive discipline to real-life situations through practical examples that educators could easily relate to.

Interactive activities such as Class meetings and the Wheel of Choice encouraged collaboration, reflection, and shared learning, helping participants gain meaningful strategies to foster respectful, responsible, and supportive learning environments

The campus came alive with festive cheer as Pongal was celebrated with great enthusiasm. Learners, dressed in traditional attire, were warmly welcomed and introduced to the significance and values of the harvest festival.
Cultural performances added color and energy to the celebration, while the traditional preparation of Pongal became a memorable highlight, with learners actively participating and sharing the joy of togetherness

DANCED AND EMBRACED THE FESTIVE SPIRIT. TRADITIONAL GAMES
SUCH AS URIYADI, GOLI, AND GILLI SAW ENTHUSIASTIC PARTICIPATION, PROMOTING TEAMWORK, EXCITEMENT, AND CULTURAL CONNECTION.

To mark the birthdays of our November, December, and January, Ruh’lers and educators gathered at the serene Periyakulam Lake for another plantation drive.
With mindful intent and enthusiastic hands, saplings were planted as living symbols of growth, responsibility, and hope. Each young hand that pressed soil around a plant carried with it a promise to care, to nurture, and to protect This birthday tradition gently teaches an enduring lesson.
As the children grow year by year, so will the trees they planted, offering shade, shelter, and sustenance to countless lives. In the years to come, when one walks along Periyakulam Lake and rests beneath thriving


At Ruh birthdays are not just milestones of

Little Ruh’lers of EY1 recently embarked on an enchanting outing to the Vellalore Lake Butterfly Park in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu where vibrant colours and delicate wings greeted them throughout the visit.
The garden is designed with a rich variety of flowering nectar and host plants that sustain a blossoming community of butterflies including some of the rare forest species like Chocolate Albatross and Bamboo Tree Brown that thrive in the Western Ghats ecosystem
LEARNERS OBSERVED THESE WINGED BEAUTIES FLITTING FROM BLOOM TO BLOOM AND LEARNED ABOUT THEIR LIFE CYCLES AND VITAL ROLE IN POLLINATION.
The park’s educational displays and accessible paths made the experience joyous, adventurous and informative EXPLORATION






For Grade 1, the visit strengthened understanding of water resources, agriculture, and Coimbatore’s journey from a rural region to an urban city through interactive panels, a 3D Smart City presentation, and engaging activities. Hologram-based underwater games sparked curiosity for the upcoming unit Sharing the Planet, introducing marine life and interdependence.
The Pink Patrol awareness session further sensitised learners to personal safety and community helpers
Learners from Grades 1 and 2 participated in a thoughtfully planned educational visit to Ukkadam Lake, Coimbatore, which meaningfully connected classroom learning to real-world experiences

Grade 2 students deepened their inquiry into migration by observing migratory birds and learning about their movement across regions due to climate, food, and habitat needs.

Interactive 3D sessions and games reinforced learning, while the Pink Patrol interaction promoted safety awareness.

EY2 learners visited the children’s traffic park on a field trip designed to make road safety engaging and practical. Throughout their trip, they explored various traffic scenarios, learning to navigate crossings, signals, and pedestrian rules with guidance from educators.
The experience combined fun with valuable lessons in awareness, responsibility, and decision-making Educators provided direction while allowing learners to practice independence, fostering confidence at every step.
THE PARK OFFERED A SAFE SPACE TO EXPERIMENT, OBSERVE, AND REFLECT. THE VISIT REINFORCED THAT LEARNING CAN BE ACTIVE, HANDS-ON, AND ENJOYABLE, LEAVING A LASTING IMPRESSION ON SAFETY, COOPERATION, AND PERSONAL GROWTH.
