A supplement sheet will be available sale day with updated information, corrections, and additional information. This sheet and any announcements made sale day and from the auction block during the sale will take precedence over printed material associated with this sale.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All lots will sell in accordance with the suggested guidelines of their respective breed association. For updated EPD’s and information please visit angus.org, myherd.org or charolaisusa.com. All cattle must be paid for prior to release. No cattle will be released or transferred without full payment.

BULL GUARANTEE

Unless otherwise noted, all bulls will have passed a breeding soundness exam prior to sale day. In addition to the standard Terms and Conditions of the American Angus Association, we will provide a first breeding season guarantee. This applies to the 90-day period immediately following first turnout. This guarantee is against breeding injury. It is not an insurance or mortality policy, but a guarantee on functional fertility. It is not a substitute or replacement for management decisions outside genetic control. For the guarantee to apply, we ask that you contact us as soon as a condition is observed and before the animal is sold. Claims need to be made by October 1, 2026, and accompanied with a statement of veterinarian examination. We will work with you to provide a suitable replacement. If one cannot be provided of equal or greater value, we will issue a sale credit to be used in a future sale for the full purchase price less the $3,500 salvage value of the animal.

Arrangements will need to be made to pick up bulls at Crawford Livestock or Stagemeyer Cattle Co. immediately following the sale. We will bring all bulls needing to leave from the farm in Page back from the sale free of charge. Truckers believed to be reliable are listed below.

In addition to the Angus bulls, we will also be offering a select group of Hereford and Charolais bulls to meet your heterosis needs. Like years past, a large majority of the bulls will be full or maternal brothers out of our top donor cows.

As semen suppliers, breed associations, and packers continue to drive for more computer-generated data, it is important to remember phenotype still matters. Data can be easily altered and twisted to reach a pre-formed conclusion. Why is it that the tried-and-true genetics lose ground on paper while new, unproven cattle rise to the top? At the end of the day, phenotype is black and white. Phenotypic traits such as angularity and structural build don’t lie. Loose-built, long-bodied, good-looking cattle don’t go out of style. They produce the market-topping females and feeders year after year. Building them right from the ground up will always be our focus.

For those traveling from outside the area, we highly encourage you to make the trip to Crawford. The facilities, scenery, and atmosphere are unbeatable. With that in mind, we are excited to be hosting an open house prior to the sale on March 26th from 4–7 PM with light refreshments and plenty of conversation.
