Aaron Badolato stands behind the case of doughnuts at Sweet Coloradough, which opened in the former Daylight Donuts location at 1410 North Ave. in Grand Junction in November. Badolato co-owns the doughnut shop with his wife, Anne, and daughters Lilli and Ari. They own three other Sweet Coloradough stores, including the original one, which opened in Glenwood Springs in 2013. Badolato said his Sweet Coloradough stores have donated nearly 3 million doughnuts, and they try to bring smiles to customers’ faces. “If we can make people’s day better, hopefully they go out and make other people’s day better,” he said.
