Colorado Mesa University women’s basketball player Olivia Reed Thyne, left, and ProSpace Interiors owner and President Dave Huerkamp agreed to a Name, Image and Likeness deal that paid Reed Thyne to appear in a television commercial for ProSpace Interiors. Reed Thyne, an NCAA Division II All-American player and an Academic All-American, is the first CMU athlete to be paid to be in a TV commercial, according to the university.
