RPDS CTP5 Interpretation Guide 2025-2026

Page 1

The CTP5 is a standardized test that helps schools understand student performance across several academic areas. This booklet explains how to read your child’s scores and what they mean. Reports vary by grade level: parents of 2nd grade students receive the Primary Grade Report, while parents of 3rd–6th grade students receive the Individual Narrative Report and Instructional Summary Report. At RPDS, we use these assessments to highlight strengths and areas for growth, track progress over time, inform teaching, and refine our curriculum. Please remember that these results are just one snapshot and should always be considered alongside classroom work, teacher observations, and your child’s growth over time.
