As the Archaeology and Heritage Group celebrates its 50th Anniversary this is a plea for more content for Heritage Photography and the upcoming digital exhibition timed to come out the same month as the Anniversary issue in July. David Bryson FRPS.

Obituary for Eric Houlder

Eric who was an archaeologist and photographer was a founding member of the SIG, a former journal editor and regular contributor who sadly died last year. If anyone has any thoughts remembrances or anecdotes/photographs they took of him please send them to me for the special issue.

50 photographs for 50 years.

Online exhibition and best photographs for issues everyone please up load your best or favourite Archaeology and Heritage photographs ideally to show the breadth of heritage photography.

As I prepare for future issues this is a plea for more content for Heritage Photography. Please submit any content as and when ready as I try to get issues prepared in advance of the month of publication i.e. I will be working in August on September’s issue.

Member Biographies

One idea the committee had was for members to submit biographies with their favourite Archaeology and Heritage images so we can learn more about members preferably also with a photograph of you so we can put faces to names.

Black and white infrared

I have seen quite a few interesting infrared images on facebook so the plan is for an article on infrared so image examples from members would

I do prefer to have enough content on file so that issues can be planned and created in advance so the more material the better so if you submit and send something in it may not be printed in the next issue but definitely in subsequent issues.
