Michel Claverie ….. The Pulse of the Pier
The jetty - a shared launchpad for the jumpers and a quiet path for the wanderers
The jetties of Adelaide are iconic community hubs used for many leisure activities from teenage boys and girls making high-energy ocean jumps to peaceful walking and fishing for the less energetic.
The boys remain the traditional jetty jumpers but the equally daring jumps made by the girls afford them the same respect as the boys.
Together they form a tight clutch of friends, united by the high jinks of their prohibited but tolerated activity, where the presence of the girls intensifies the group dynamics.
For those who don’t jump off the jetty, it is a quiet and contemplative outing in the ever-present sea breeze.
Peter Bartlett ARPS ….. Manchester’s Northern Quarter
Between April 2015 and April 2018 I photographed Manchester’s Northern Quarter. In September 2018, using images from this project I produced a successful ARPS Travel panel.
In addition to showing the 15 images from my Associateship, I also showed a video of images not included in the panel.

Sean Goodhart ARPS
Landshapes is a project I submitted in 2023 for an unsuccessful FRPS distinction in the Contemporary genre using aerial portraits to explore the impact of humans on the landscape, capturing marks and shapes made at scale by farming, religion, tourism, industry and military infrastructure.
The images are all ‘top down views’ using drones. I’ve been making images with drones since 2018. The images used in the panel were made between 2019 and 2023.
Thor Missile Site, Harrington, UK – one of the first nuclear missile locations in the UK
Halde Rungenberg, Gelsenkirchen Buer, Germany – the mining spoil heap turned into a recreation park
Cooling tower, Kokerei Zollverein, Essen, Germany – the coke works are part of a steel making complex
Bastion II (Kruithuis), Brielle, Netherlands – a gunpowder store in the fortified town
