In March 2026, a group from the Royal Photographic Society photographed in an area between Aberdeen city centre and the coastal community of Footdee, about a mile away. Their route led them through the busy streets of the city, past residential tower blocks, and into the industrial district north of the harbour, where historic granite buildings stand alongside modern facilities serving the offshore oil and gas industry.
