KeepYourMindSharp!
4EasyDailyHabitsforBrainHealth
Keeping your brain sharp doesn’t require big changes—even a few minutes of small daily habits can make a big long-term difference! Here are a few healthy habits that can help keep your mind bright for years to come. Which habit or activity will you try to prioritize this month?
Stay socially connected: Call or visit friends and family, join a club, say hi to a neighbor, or attend community events. Social interaction helps memory and reduces stress!
Challenge your mind: Read, do puzzles, play games, or try a new hobby. Learning new things builds brain strength!
Move your body: Walk, stretch, do gentle yoga, or chair exercises – there are many options! Physical activity improves blood flow to the brain and boosts mood. Remember to check in with your doctor on which exercises are the safest and most beneficial for your situation.
Get quality sleep and stay hydrated: Rest and proper hydration support focus and memory.
