Ein Gitterwerk, das von zarten Blätter- und Blütenranken durchschlungen ist. So romantisch sieht das Porzellanservice Sanssouci aus. Inspiriert von den üppigen Stuckdecken in Schloss Sanssouci, wurde es in den zwanziger Jahren erstmals vorgestellt. Pate für den Entwurf stand eine aufwändige Tischausstattung, die Friedrich der Große für seine Potsdamer Sommerresidenz in Auftrag gegeben hatte. Das Service fand so großen Anklang, dass es zum beliebten Nachahmungsobjekt für viele Porzellanhersteller wurde. Doch nur Rosenthal gelang es, die Lizenz zur originalgetreuen Herstellung von der Königlichen Porzellan Manufaktur zu erwerben.

Lattice work that is entwined with delicate leaf and blossom tendrils. The Sanssouci porcelain service has an extremely elegant look. Inspired by the opulent stuccoed ceilings of the Sanssouci Palace, it was first presented in the 1920s.

An extravagant tableware collection that Friedrich the Great commissioned for his Potsdam summer residence was the inspiration for the design. The service proved so popular that it was copied by a number of porcelain manufacturers. Yet it was only Rosenthal which succeeded in acquiring a licence to manufacture the royal porcelain in a form true to the original.

Zum 100. Jubiläum legt Rosenthal die Sanssouci Kollektion mit dem eleganten Dekor Midas neu auf: In den beiden Farben Rosa und Blau debütieren Jubiläum-Sets, bestehend jeweils aus einer Platte (33 cm) und zwei Teetassen mit Untertassen. Die farbigen Artikel sind handgespritzt und der Midas Dekor wird in goldener Farbe aufgedruckt. Die filigranen Henkel der Tassen erhalten ihren besonderen Glanz durch eine von Hand aufgemalte 24-Karat-Gold-Glasur. Die farbigen Sets kommen, zeitlich limitiert zum Anlass des Jubiläums, in einer exklusiven Sonderverpackung.

Ergänzt wird die Kollektion durch Sets aus bestehenden weißen Artikeln mit goldenen Akzenten. Neben dem Jubiläumsset in Weiß sind auch weitere Kombinationen erhältlich: ein zweiteiliges Set mit Tee- oder Kaffeetasse samt Untertasse sowie ein Ensemble aus zwei Espressotassen mit passenden Untertassen und einer Servierplatte (28) cm.

Als exklusives Jubiläumsgeschenk liegen jedem Set zwei goldene Löffel der eleganten Sambonet-Serie Linear bei.

To mark the 100th anniversary, Rosenthal is reissuing the Sanssouci collection with the refined Midas décor: available in two colours, pink and blue, the anniversary sets each include one platter (33 cm) and two tea cups with matching saucers. The coloured pieces are hand-sprayed, and the Midas pattern is applied in gold. The cups’ delicate handles are finished with a hand-painted 24-carat gold glaze, adding an exceptional shine. These limited-edition sets are presented in exclusive anniversary packaging. The collection is complemented by sets made from existing white pieces adorned with golden accents. In addition to the anniversary set in white, other combinations are available: a two-piece set comprising a tea or coffee cup with saucer, as well as a set featuring two espresso cups with saucers and a serving platter (28 cm).

As an exclusive anniversary gift, each set includes two golden spoons from the elegant Sambonet ‘Linear’ series.
