Lawrence Carroll Photographs is the sixteenth exhibition held in the ex-kindergarten of Bruzella, home of the Rolla Foundation.
Philip and Rosella Rolla have been collecting Carroll’s pictorial work for years and now present his first photographic project.
Lawrence Carroll (1954 - 21.05.2019) is considered a leading exponent of contemporary art. His work, often at the boundary between painting and sculpture, is pervaded by a poetic sentiment and an autobiographical imprint that is reflected in his photographic work.
The project was born after a long journey through the United States of America to a new city and a new home.
