A copy of the floor plan and the location of your room are shown on the emergency exit plan displayed on the back of your door. • IN CASE OF FIRE: Keep your key card with you at all times. Do not use the elevators. Stay low in smoke-filled areas and remain calm. Follow the instruction in the evacuation route. If you are in the main building, the meeting point is outside the hotel entrance, but if you are located near the pool area, the meeting point will be at the beach. If the fire is in the room Make sure you have the key card, leave the room and close the door. Activate the nearest alarm box. Do not use the elevators Follow the instruction in the evacuation route. If the fire is outside your room You may want to stay in the safety of your room to await instructions from the Hotel management. Do dial ‘0’ to notify your location. • IN CASE OF TSUNAMI What is a tsunami ? Tsunami is not an ocean wave but a series of waves, created during an earthquake or other underwater seismic event. The earthquake causes a rapid displacement of ocean water, generating a “wave train” that quickly moves across the ocean. While the tsunami waves are hardly detectable out at the sea, the waves begins to slow down and gain the energy. By the time the first wave strikes, it can be many feet high and carry immense force. Pay attention if an earthquake occurs, listen for tsunami warning voice announcement. Heed warnings, even if you think you are too far away to be affected. Move immediately to higher ground. Please take the emergency staircases to the lobby. Do not use the elevators Follow all directions given by the hotel officials, the meeting point/safe ground is the high ground / lobby.
