FROM THE EDITOR
Bailey Richy @bailey_rockymtnbride Welcome to the first ever issue of Mountain West Bride Nevada! This issue feels incredibly personal. This past year, I welcomed my first baby with my college sweetheart, now husband, whom I met at UNLV. After spending a few years in the Rocky Mountains, we found our way back to Las Vegas to start our family. Choosing to plant roots in the same city where our love story began feels full circle in the best way, and makes this magazine all the more meaningful. Lake Tahoe also holds a special place in my heart. I spent much of my childhood in South Lake, and now that my parents call it home, it’s where we gather for holidays and long days on the water, often boating across the lake to Emerald Bay or over to Gar Woods for a Wet Woody. Anyone who’s familiar with Tahoe knows the magic doesn’t stop at the state line, which is why we couldn’t celebrate Nevada without including the California side of the lake, too. This issue is a love letter to the entire Silver State and proves what I’ve always known in my heart: Nevada is layered. From ranches and red rock to lake days and glittering casino nights, weddings here can be black tie at a luxury resort or boots in the dirt at a family farm. We set out to capture the diversity of love stories here within these pages, from a lakeside proposal and a luxury mountain weekend to an Elvisofficiated elopement and a dog-filled celebration at a charming hidden farm venue. Launching our inaugural Mountain West Bride Nevada issue feels like coming home. So pour a glass of something bubbly, dive into these pages, and start dreaming up your own celebration while discovering some of the incredible vendors and venues that make this state so special. Here’s to new chapters and a whole lot of love. Cheers!
Bailey

JAMISON + BRANDON
18
rockymountainbride.com / mountain west bride nevada 2026
Jamison and Brandon met during college at a Christmas party, thanks to a familiar connection. Brandon was the cousin of one of Jamison’s closest friends, and what started as a simple introduction quickly turned into something more. By the end of the evening, they were inseparable, and over the next eight years, that instant spark grew into a steady, lasting love. When it came time to propose, Brandon did it in true hometown fashion, on a boat on Lake Tahoe, the place where so much of their story began. To capture their engagement, they leaned into what felt most “them,” golden light, winding mountain roads and a pair of vintage Porsches that turned their session into a fullblown adventure. The cars, a 1962 Porsche 356 convertible and a 1976 Porsche 930 Turbo, have been in Brandon’s family for years and are incredibly special to them. More than just beautiful classics, they’re family heirlooms that added a meaningful layer of legacy and nostalgia to the experience.

Elena and Adam met during their sophomore year of college. While the first decade of their relationship included various stints of long distance, from studying abroad in Spain to medical school in Vermont, their bond only grew stronger. When Adam was ready to ask Elena to be his forever, he planned a heartfelt proposal along the scenic Marin County coastline in California. With sweeping views of the Golden Gate Bridge and their puppy, Fritz, by their side, Adam got down on one knee and asked Elena to marry him. The very next day, the newly engaged couple jetted off to Hawaii for a pre-planned vacation with friends, turning their engagement into a celebration to remember.

Lauren and Alexis first met in seventh-grade history class, unaware that a simple seating assignment would mark the beginning of their forever. After a decade together, Alexis planned an unforgettable proposal at their family’s lakehouse at Kings Beach. Surrounded by friends and family, Alexis got down on one knee and asked Lauren to marry him. Just when Lauren thought the surprises were over, a beautiful wooden boat, named The Wild Goose, pulled up to the dock to whisk everyone away for a celebratory cruise. “It was more magical than I could have ever imagined,” Lauren shares.

Lauren and Justin met on the job while serving as law enforcement officers in Arizona. After two and a half years together, Justin completely caught Lauren off guard during what she believed was simply a “just because” photo session at the annual Mesquite Hot Air Balloon Festival, planned alongside her close friend and photographer, Hannah MacDonald. Mid-session, Justin surprised her and dropped to one knee, revealing a ring Lauren didn’t even know he had purchased. Overwhelmed with emotion, she said “Yes!” through happy tears.

Jamie and Jason met while attending law school, where a shared season of late night study sessions led to something beyond a friendship. After four years together, Jason brought their story full circle by proposing at the restaurant where they shared their first date. The space was transformed with a flower wall and tables adorned with printed photos from their time together accented with floral centerpieces which set the tone for a surprise celebration with family and close friends. To mark the next chapter in their love story, the two chose Eldorado Dry Lake Bed for their engagement photos, drawn to the location’s distinct landscape and its ability to offer something unexpected and uniquely memorable. Angela and Simon first met at work, when Simon popped in to say “Hi” to a coworker and Angela just happened to be there. Casually leaning against the door frame, Simon caught a glimpse of Angela, a moment Angela jokingly recalls as him “flexing a little,” though Simon would argue otherwise. What began as a quick introduction soon turned into a friendship, then a relationship, as the two continued working together and getting to know one another. Four years later, Simon planned a proposal during a romantic dinner at Mar’sel at Terranea Resort in Los Angeles, California. While they enjoyed the evening, friends quietly set the scene with roses and candles at a scenic cliffside overlook. After dinner, Simon suggested a walk to catch the sunset, leading Angela to the overlook where he asked her to be his wife. Their friends captured the entire moment and surprised the newly engaged couple with a bottle of champagne to celebrate.

Ivy and Bo’s story began in the most modern way, through a connection on social media. Soon after, they decided to meet for their first date over ramen noodles, and the rest, as they say, is history. Three years later, Bo took their love story across the globe, proposing to Ivy in front of Osaka Castle during a trip to Japan. When it came time to plan their wedding, the couple knew they wanted to throw tradition out the window. “We both wanted something intimate and personal,” Ivy shares. “We wrote down everything we love about weddings and came up with our dream elopement scenario.” Las Vegas was the perfect fit, Elvis included.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR ELOPEMENT?
“Intentional & undistracted”
The couple chose to share the occasion with their parents, making the moment even more meaningful and memorable. Before Ivy and Bo tied the knot, both sets of parents renewed their vows, creating a heartfelt, full-circle experience. After celebrating their nuptials in such a charming way, Ivy and Bo share this elopement advice, “Choose your own adventure and make it as personal and special as possible.”

rockymountainbride.com / mountain west bride nevada 2026
Fashion was a true show-stopping moment for both Bo and Ivy. Ivy wore her mother’s original wedding dress, reimagined with thoughtful alterations paired with playful powder-blue platform heels that added a bold, modern twist. The shoes doubled as her “something blue,” and, as she shared, were a practical choice too. With her now husband standing at 6’ 7”, the extra height was non-negotiable. Bo complemented her look in a classic black suit, striking the perfect balance between vintage charm and effortlessly cool. Together, their style felt nostalgic, fashionforward and completely at home against the neon-soaked backdrop of the Vegas Strip. Their evening continued with permanent ink on his ring finger and a casual sushi dinner, Ivy and Bo closed out the day in a way that felt authentic and unmistakably theirs.

Alyssa & Daniel
52
rockymountainbride.com / mountain west bride nevada 2026
Alyssa and Daniel met through mutual friends in San Diego, California, shortly after Alyssa moved to town. Over the next four years, their paths crossed often, always friendly, never romantic. Years later, the two ran into each other at a concert, and from that moment on, Daniel was in pursuit of something more. After six years together, Daniel proposed in Alyssa’s hometown of Lake Tahoe at Edgewood Tahoe Resort, “leading me out onto the grass overlooking the water,” where he pulled the ring from his cowboy boot and asked her to marry him. Moments later, both of their families emerged to surprise the couple and celebrate the moment together.
Alyssa and Daniel planned a modern, polished wedding with a subtle Western flair at Park Home Ranch, celebrating with just 98 of their closest friends and family. Daniel wore a custom suit finished with a turquoise bolo tie and black ostrich cowboy boots, while Alyssa paired her sculptural gown with lace gloves and heels before later switching into cowboy boots for the reception. Their ceremony was rooted in faith and set against sweeping mountain views, with God, the landscape and their loved ones bearing witness, including a quiet tribute to Alyssa’s late brother, whose presence was deeply felt throughout the day. When they were introduced as husband and wife at dinner, the couple surprised guests by switching into custom-made cowboy hats they had shaped together, setting the tone for a night of dancing ahead. Rather than a traditional send-off, the celebration continued late into the night with a final stop at the historic Genoa Saloon, closing out the weekend with a toast to forever.

THE COUPLE EDIT SOMETHING BLUE A clutch passed down from my sister, the same one she carried on her wedding day. SOMETHING BORROWED A custom photo charm featuring my brother. It was attached to my bouquet along the ribbon, allowing him to be with me throughout the day. I borrowed it from my sister who had also carried it on her bouquet at her wedding, which made it even more meaningful. FRAGRANCE Desert Dawn by Byredo SHADE OF LIPSTICK Pillow Talk by Charlotte Tilbury NON-NEGOTIABLES Before the ceremony, Daniel wanted his friends to roll in a wheelbarrow filled with icecold Coronas and hand them out to guests. He and my dad even bought a brand-new wheelbarrow just for it, a fun, unexpected touch that perfectly captured his personality. AISLE SONG “Turning Page” by Sleeping At Last SIGNATURE COCKTAILS Hers: Cowgirl Spritz, His: Brown Derby, Ours: Ranch Water FIRST DANCE SONG “Beautiful Crazy” by Luke Combs CAKE FLAVOR Classic vanilla bean cake with raspberry jam filling, paired with vanilla buttercream. SONG THAT MADE EVERYONE DANCE Rather than one specific song, the moment that truly got everyone on the dance floor was a surprise line-dancing session. A close family friend who teaches line dancing jumped in to lead the group, and it quickly turned into one of the most fun, interactive moments of the night. VENDOR LOVE Our wedding vendors made the day feel seamless and truly magical. Park Home Ranch set the tone with its all-inclusive ranch setting, beautiful barn and in-house catering that guests absolutely loved. Jacque O Photography kept the day running smoothly while capturing every meaningful moment, and Thrans Floral Shop brought our romantic, organic vision to life with lush, whimsical arrangements. Fire Step Weddings and Elopements created a cinematic film, even overlaying our vows, a memory we’ll treasure forever. Flour Girl Wedding Cakes delivered a stunning cake and dessert bar that tasted just as incredible as it looked, while Tahoe Photo Booth added a fun, interactive touch with a vintage Volkswagon bus and a custom photo book filled with notes from our guests. Our hair and makeup team made everything feel effortless, from a ceremony updo that transitioned perfectly into the reception to makeup that felt natural and true to me. Every vendor played a role in making the day feel personal, joyful and perfectly aligned with our vision.

Kelsey and Andrew met with a quick swipe of a finger on a dating app. At the time, Kelsey was working remotely in Los Altos Hills, California, while Andrew had just returned from New York to begin a new role in the Bay Area. Andrew was immediately drawn to Kelsey’s photos filled with snowy adventures alongside her beloved Bernese mountain dogs, and the connection quickly moved offline. The two agreed to meet halfway in Palo Alto for an evening of pasta at Osteria, a spot that soon became a favorite. Two and a half years later, Andrew proposed during a trip to Chileno Bay, Mexico, popping the question over margaritas and sliders. “He was so nervous that his Apple Watch hit Zone 5 heart rate,” Kelsey shares. Right after the engagement, both sets of parents met up and drove in by golf cart to join the couple in celebrating. rockymountainbride.com / mountain west bride nevada 2026

THE COUPLE EDIT FAVORITE PURCHASE One of my favorite things from the weekend was the pajamas I got for my bridesmaids. Danielle, my planner, recommended the Lunya silk PJ sets, and I got them for my bridesmaids as a getting-ready gift (and, of course, one for myself too). They are the softest PJs I’ve ever worn, and I even changed into mine after the ceremony when I switched from my giant gown to my after-party dress—let me tell you, after being in that big dress, they felt like heaven. I still wear them all the time! SOMETHING BORROWED & BLUE My mom’s earrings she loaned me for the day. FRAGRANCE Juliette has a gun by Not a Perfume AISLE SONG A string quartet version of “Beautiful Day” by U2, a very meaningful song to my dad and I. SIGNATURE COCKTAILS Camp Rita, French 75, Aperol Spritz and Espresso Martinis FIRST DANCE SONG I vetoed the first dance CAKE FLAVOR Carrot cake SONG THAT MADE EVERYONE DANCE “Dancing Queen” by ABBA VENDOR LOVE We have to give a huge shout out to our stationer, Kelly from Paper by the Bay. She was the genius behind the bear illustrations, our invitations and all of the day-of paper— from the programs to the menus to the escort cards, which were those meaningful gold butterflies. We threw so many ideas and details at her, and she handled everything beautifully, really listening to what was important to my mom, Andrew and me and turning it into something incredible. Our invitations were my favorite part—so thoughtful and intricate, with little elements that teased pieces of the day to come. My absolute favorite detail was a little pocket we created that mirrored the floral elements of my wedding dress. When guests opened the invitation packet, they got a tiny glimpse of the dress in the form of this lasercut, perfectly designed pocket. We have to give a huge shout out to the Martis Camp staff. Honestly, every single person we interacted with went above and beyond, and I know it takes a massive team to pull off a weekend like ours. They made sure every guest was comfortable, every detail was executed perfectly and they somehow kept everything running seamlessly behind the scenes. Nikki and Stacey, in particular, were incredible leaders, keeping the whole production on track with such calm, thoughtful, and confident energy. I know we were probably pretty eh… demanding clients…. but the entire team handled it all beautifully and teamed up with our other vendors to make the weekend feel effortless, personal and so special. Truly, we couldn’t have done it without them.
With the help of their planners, Elise Events, the goal was always for the celebration to feel like more than a single wedding day. Just over 200 guests arrived to the Tahoe area, to a full slate of welcome activities, including golf and pickleball, before transitioning into the first evening’s festivities. The weekend unfolded as a series of unforgettable experiences, beginning with a cozy Italian-inspired rehearsal dinner overlooking Martis Lake, where guests gathered for pasta, vino and sweeping Tahoe views. Night two brought an especially meaningful surprise as guests were treated to a live concert by one of Kelsey and Andrew’s favorite artists, Mat Kearney. Ticket stubs sent ahead of time and a curated playlist built anticipation for the evening, a special nod to the very first concert the couple attended together at Martis Camp.

For the ceremony, Kelsey wore an Oscar de la Renta gown adorned with intricate floral cutouts as she made her way down a floral-lined aisle, framed by lush arrangements that led to a vibrant arch set against the Tahoe mountains. Kelsey later changed into an unexpected after-party look by Ines Di Santo, a dress her mom and mother-in-law initially had her try on as a joke. “It was so far from my usual style,” Kelsey shares, “but it ended up being my favorite look of the entire weekend.” Andrew complemented her fashion-forward moment in a classic tuxedo from local bespoke clothier Tailor’s Keep. Following the ceremony, the newlyweds made a joyful ride from the ceremony to the reception in Kelsey’s grandfather’s vintage Corvette, before guests gathered inside a custom-built clear glass tent where the celebration continued late into the night.

When Lauren walked into Jordan’s dealership to purchase a new vehicle, she had no idea she was about to meet the man she’d one day marry. What began as a simple sales interaction quickly turned into something neither of them expected. After following up about her car, fate stepped in again when she returned for service and Jordan happened to be working. “Before I left, he asked if I would like to grab coffee sometime… and of course, I said ‘Yes!’” she shared. That coffee date marked the beginning of their next chapter, and after a year of dating, Jordan planned an unforgettable proposal. During what Lauren thought was a cute couple’s photo shoot at Utah’s iconic Bonneville Salt Flats, Jordan got down on one knee with the endless white landscape stretching around them as she said “Yes!” all over again.

From the start, Lauren and Jordan knew a traditional ballroom wedding was not for them. “We’ve never been the boring and formal type,” Lauren shared, which made the vibrant vintage backdrop of The Neon Museum in Las Vegas feel like the perfect setting. For the ceremony, Lauren chose a sleek, modern gown with a structured silhouette and daring slit, a look that felt effortlessly confident against the glow of the iconic signs. Jordan complemented her perfectly in a tailored suit paired with crisp white sneakers, a subtle nod to the city’s relaxed edge. When asked about his most memorable moment, Jordan said, “Without a doubt, it was saying ‘I do!’ to Lauren. The moment I saw her, everything else faded away. She was absolutely breathtaking, so beautiful, so radiant and seeing her in her wedding dress is an image that will be etched in my heart forever.” After the ceremony, Lauren slipped into a floral appliqué mini dress and veil, and the two took to the streets as newlyweds with their photographer and videographer in tow to capture their first moments as husband and wife.

Kelly and Stevie had known each other for years. Stevie is the younger brother of Kelly’s high school friend, Tara, and after reconnecting in the summer of 2020, the two quickly became inseparable. Stevie proposed while they were heading into Red Rocks, the iconic outdoor concert venue in Colorado, to see one of their all-time favorite bands, Arcade Fire. Of course, Kelly said “Yes,” and the two danced the night away under the Colorado skies. Kelly and Stevie went on to plan a destination celebration for 65 of their closest friends and family. The weekend was designed to feel like an adult summer camp (think: Dirty Dancing) where guests were invited to a show for the evening, layered with a playful Wes Anderson–inspired color palette.
THE COUPLE EDIT FAVORITE PURCHASE Stevie surprised me with a vintage opal necklace, which I wore on my wedding day. It was thoughtful, timeless and incredibly meaningful. SOMETHING BLUE My friend Chelsea created a custom, bedazzled blue coat with the words “‘Til Death Do Us Part,” which was such a fun and unforgettable addition. FRAGRANCE Santal 33 by Le Labo AISLE SONG “Skinny Love” by Bon Iver SIGNATURE COCKTAIL Starlight No. 5: Vodka, crème de violette, lemon, sparkling wine. Curtain Call: Bourbon, amaro, maple, orange bitters FIRST DANCE SONG “Thank You” by Led Zeppelin CAKE FLAVOR Vanilla cake with strawberry jam filling and vanilla buttercream SECOND-LOOK I wore the Mini Geisha dress by Bronx and Banco, the sleeves were so fun to twirl on the dance floor. SONG THAT MADE EVERYONE DANCE “Mr. Brightside” by The Killers VENDOR LOVE Food was a priority for us, and we wanted intentional menu choices that our guests would truly enjoy. The Hidden Table did an amazing job, from our welcome BBQ to our wedding reception.
For the ceremony, the lush pines of Tahoe set the scene as guests took their seats among natural wooden benches. Kelly made her way down the aisle with her father, wearing an ethereal Madi Lane gown with floral lace detailing, a moment Stevie describes as a highlight of the day. Playful, custom details by Shimmer and Stain brought the couple’s vision to life, from perfectly designed tickets to a vintage-inspired ticket booth and grab-n-go snacks, making it feel as though guests were truly in for a show. For the reception, guests joined the couple for a lounge-style evening where live music fueled the celebration and the barn was transformed into a warm, nightlife-inspired space filled with intimate seating, glowing table lamps and collected details.

Georgina & Regi
Georgina and Regi met during a time of uncertainty. After connecting on the dating app Hinge, they met up for their first date in the park surrounding Buckingham Palace in London, United Kingdom. Things, as they like to say, escalated pretty quickly. After just two dates, they made the spontaneous decision to move in together. Some might call it a leap of faith. If you ask Georgina and Regi, they’ll tell you it was simply a practical solution to being able to see one another during the height of the pandemic. Three years later, Regi proposed in true low-key fashion at home, on the sofa, with their dogs close by.

THE COUPLE EDIT FAVORITE PURCHASE I loved my three veils. I had each one customized, I’m very into details. SOMETHING BLUE The back of my ceremony dress was hand embroidered with our initials and the date of the wedding, in a heart, in blue. ELOPEMENT ADVICE The lead up can feel so stressful, and it literally all melts away as soon as you’re there. So just enjoy it, and remember that it’s the people that make it special, whether that’s just you two, or if you’re lucky enough to have people join you like we did.

Georgina and Regi wanted a quintessential Las Vegas “I do,” but with a twist. While the ceremony leaned into the city’s iconic charm, they balanced it with a more refined and elegant reception, opting for an intimate desert dinner at Cactus Joe’s Nursery. Georgina’s ceremony look set the tone with a chic Reformation mini dress paired with classic Jimmy Choo pumps, a nod to tradition with a modern Las Vegas edge. As the night unfolded, she fully embraced the after-party spirit, slipping into a silver chain mail dress inspired by Paris Hilton’s iconic 21st birthday look, a playful, fashion-forward moment that felt right at home in Sin City. After dinner, the celebration continued with rooftop cocktails at Circa alongside friends before ending the night the only way Vegas knows how, with a late-night McDonald’s run to cap it all off.

Leenoy and Nick met while working together in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas. What was meant to be a short-term stop for Nick as a travel nurse, quickly turned into something more after he slid into Leenoy’s DMs. One hike was all it took, and from that day on, the two were inseparable. Two years later, Nick brought Leenoy back to Malibu, California, the place where they first said “I love you.” During what was framed as a quick and fun getaway, the two enjoyed dinner, sunset photos on the beach and a quiet walk toward the water, where Leenoy spotted a photographer and realized what was happening. Of course, Leenoy said “Yes!,” and the moment became even sweeter when their closest friends surprised them by running down the beach to celebrate.
THE COUPLE EDIT FAVORITE PURCHASE My shoes. I got my dream Manolo Blahnik shoes. SOMETHING BLUE I had a white garter with blue stitching that says “Mrs. Newton.” SOMETHING OLD My grandma’s ring FRAGRANCE Mademoiselle by Chanel AISLE SONG “Can’t Help Falling in Love (Instrumental)” SIGNATURE COCKTAILS Hers: “Blushing Bride” Rose Vodka, elderflower liqueur, lemon juice, splash of club soda, served with a rose petal His: “Forever Fresh” gin, cucumber slice, lime, mint and a splash of tonic or soda FIRST DANCE SONG “Stargazing” Acoustic by Myles Smith CAKE FLAVORS Cinnamon dulce de leche and marble with chocolate ganache and Oreo cookie crumble SECOND-LOOK I changed into a Bronx and Banco dress SONG THAT MADE EVERYONE DANCE Honestly the techno/EDM music made everyone get up, but the other songs were the classic old school songs like “Dancing Queen” by ABBA, “Low” by Flo Rida, and “Getting Hot in Here” by Nelly. VENDOR LOVE Our planner, Angelica, truly deserves special recognition. Her attention to detail, calm presence and ability to turn our vision into reality made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable from start to finish. There is no one like her. Elizabeth Le Photography is absolutely spectacular. I have a very large family and she somehow managed to capture every meaningful moment and get us through all of our family photos with ease and grace. Her attention to detail is exceptional, and her calm confident presence made the entire day feel seamless. She is truly incredible.
With the help of Angelica Rose Events, Leenoy and Nick planned a timeless and romantic wedding weekend on the lush grounds of the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa. A soft palette of blush, ivory and muted rose set the scene, brought to life through gorgeous floral installations by Roots Flowers and Events that framed the ceremony and carried the romance from vows to celebration. Their ceremony honored Leenoy and Nick’s Jewish faith through a modern, conservative service officiated by a Rabbi, incorporating meaningful traditions including the chuppah, tallit and the breaking of the glass. To honor her Israeli roots, Leenoy met Nick halfway down the aisle, where he greeted her and gently veiled her face, a tradition she had long dreamt of. As the celebration moved indoors, the romance was dialed up tenfold with hundreds of glowing candles setting the tone for an unforgettable evening. Leenoy slipped into a floor-length Bronx and Banco gown before the couple took to the dance floor for a first dance they had practiced for months, leading into a night of nonstop dancing and unforgettable energy. mountain west bride nevada 2026 / rockymountainbride.com

“I’ve never been a big dating app person, but Facebook Dating didn’t require downloading anything new, so I figured, why not?” That accidental decision is exactly how Nikki and Jordan’s story began. One of Nikki’s prompts asked whether she’d rather go skydiving or stay in, and her answer, “Both,” instantly kicked things off. After chatting for a while, they planned their first date, a bowling night at South Point which ended with burgers at Slater’s 50/50 and the start of their forever. Four years later, during a bucket-list trip to Switzerland, Jordan proposed on a quiet morning walk along the river in Interlaken. “We sat on our favorite bench with coffee, soaking it all in, when Jordan said, ‘You know I love you, right?’ A moment later, he was on one knee.” With the Alps in the distance and the ring he’d carried throughout the trip finally revealed, Nikki said “Yes!” immediately, making the best trip of their lives that much more memorable.
THE COUPLE EDIT FRAGRANCE Amouage Love Tuberose NON-NEGOTIABLES Cool weather and a premium open bar AISLE SONG We had a violinist play Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You" SIGNATURE COCKTAILS “Lavender Haze,” a lavender lemonade with vodka and “Mule of Honor,” a vodka huckleberry mule FIRST DANCE SONG “Lover (Taylor’s Version)” by Taylor Swift SONG THAT MADE EVERYONE DANCE “Mr. Brightside” by The Killers, I know it’s not a great wedding song, but I had to have it on my “Must Play” list. VENDOR LOVE Alyssa, with 4LeggedSense LLC, who was the puppies’ chaperones for the day was incredible. She loved on them the whole time and helped with handling them during photos and took them home. She left a cute gift basket of chocolates, Polaroid printouts of the dogs and a card at our house. It was a beautiful touch and we still are in touch with her for other dog training things. Bloomingbelles florist, decor and rentals was amazing. They took so much care with everything and helped make my vision come true. They even asked to change the chair style (at no additional charge) just so it matched the rest of the aesthetic that they were looking for. The flowers were beyond gorgeous and totally perfect and wild like I wanted. They got the color palette perfect and really made the entire reception come together. I’m in the process of getting my bouquet preserved, I’m not sentimental, it was so beautiful I just knew I needed it as art in my house. Jenni was truly my #1 vendor. She was absolutely amazing. I loved her style and the way she captures weddings, and I knew from the start that I had to have her for my wedding. She completely understood the vibe we wanted: fun, a little humorous, casual and light-hearted. I didn’t want anything to feel stuffy or overly posed, and she delivered everything I expected and more. She has such a keen eye and managed to capture so much in a short amount of time without it ever feeling rushed. She was also so open to ideas, including a large group photo, which ended up being one of my favorite photos from the entire day. That’s not an easy thing to pull off, but she did it effortlessly. She made Jordan and me feel completely comfortable, captured the feeling of the day beautifully and let’s be real, she got the absolute best photos of the pups, who were clearly the main show.
Nikki and Jordan planned a whimsical, understated wedding at GreenGale Farms, celebrating with 60 of their closest loved ones and, of course, their two Australian Shepherds, Riley and Skya. For the ceremony, Nikki opted for a simple silhouette with soft layers and a bold slit, designed for movement and comfort. Guests gathered beneath the olive grove for a runway-style ceremony, where Nikki’s dad walked her down the aisle, tears and all, toward Jordan. After vows were exchanged, the space effortlessly transformed for an al fresco dinner beneath twinkling lights. As the night continued, Nikki changed into a shorter white dress paired with Queen of Hearts white cowboy boots and a tassel-trimmed purple velvet jacket, transforming the vibe into a party bus after-party that carried the celebration well into the night.

Gianna and Connor met the traditional way when they connected in person at a social gathering at one of Connor’s friend’s homes. What began as an easy conversation quickly turned into hours of talking and they both realized they had met someone special. After three years of dating, Connor planned a romantic proposal that brought their relationship full circle. He took Gianna to a lakeside park reminiscent of their first date, where, after chatting about how it all began, he got down on one knee and asked her to spend forever with him. The two got straight to planning and welcomed 60 of their closest friends and family to The Elm Estate for a timeless and elegant wedding day.

She used her talents to capture not only every significant moment but also the feeling of each moment. Our wedding photos could not have turned out better. Our DJ, Logan Steele, put together a fantastic wedding playlist and kept the flow of the day going from start until the venue closed. He incorporated our song requests and even remixed a song for us to walk out of the ceremony to. Neil Oscarson, our marriage officiant, after only getting to know us for a few hours over a Zoom call, crafted a beautiful story of our relationship and delivered an excellent invocation to kick the ceremony off.
For the ceremony, two lush pillars of white roses frame the vows, creating a romantic focal point as Gianna made her way down an aisle scattered with delicate white petals. She wore a strapless A-line ivory gown while her bridesmaids stood beside her in satin gold dresses that added a soft warmth to the classic color palette. When Connor turned to see his bride for the first time, he immediately began to cry, a moment Gianna still describes as her favorite. As the night unfolded, guests gathered on the patio for cocktails before transitioning into the reception glowing with twinkling lights and an abundance of white florals. From a champagne tower and unforgettable speeches to a packed dance floor, the evening came to a close with Gianna and Connor running through a tunnel of guests blowing custom party horns.

On one ordinary day, Mark slid into Maria’s DMs and, as she puts it, “accidentally found his future wife!” What started as a bold message turned into three and a half years of dating. Mark, ready to take the next step, planned a casual day trip to Lake Las Vegas including coffee, shopping and a walk by the water. As they strolled along the shoreline, Maria was looking the other way when he got down on one knee, completely catching her off guard. Looking back, she shares, “It was just the two of us in that moment, which is exactly what we wanted, something intimate and really special.”

Maria and Mark planned an earthy and elegant wedding celebration at DragonRidge Country Club with just under 150 guests in attendance. With Jennifer Mary Events leading the way, they chose greenery, soft neutrals and whimsical floral details to create a setting that felt natural, textured and effortlessly romantic. Maria wore a simple fitted crepe gown by Paloma Blanca with a sweetheart neckline and custom statement balloon sleeves, while Mark looked sharp in a classic black suit. They exchanged vows at Holy Spirit Catholic Church before gathering with family and friends for a reception where the dance floor stayed packed well into the night. In honor of Maria’s Venezuelan roots, they incorporated the hora loca, a vibrant tradition known as the “crazy hour,” where party props come out, music turns up and guests jump into the train, limbo and nonstop dancing.

Rebecca and Aljamain first met in high school, but it wasn’t until they reconnected in college through mutual friends that their story truly began. After just over a year of dating, he knew she was the one. With a plan in place, all that was left to do was get her to dinner. “He proposed at one of my favorite restaurants on a dark, cold, rainy day, the kind that makes you want to stay home,” Rebecca shared. Determined to stay cozy inside, she had to be convinced, okay, gently dragged, out the door. Little did she know, he was moments away from asking the most important question of his life. Despite the weather and her hesitation, everything unfolded exactly as it was meant to, and of course, she said “Yes!”

With the help of Starry Eyed Events, Rebecca and Aljamain planned a timeless wedding celebration at Revere Golf Club, where sweeping Las Vegas valley views and soft desert light created the dreamiest backdrop. For the ceremony, Rebecca made a dramatic entrance from the top of the hill, completely unexpected by guests. “Slowly, the top of my veil appeared over the hill. It was dramatic, cinematic and felt like a moment straight out of a movie,” she shared. She wore a sleek, fitted gown from Grace Loves Lace with a statement bow and cathedral-length, lace-trimmed veil, while Aljamain looked sharp in a crisp white tuxedo jacket, black trouser and a classic bow tie. At the reception, the modern arched installation layered with cascading roses and radiant chandeliers framed their sweetheart table, while long tables dressed in crisp linens, warm wood chargers and cane-back chairs created a refined setting for champagne toasts and a golden-hour dinner. As the sun dipped behind the mountains, the black-and-white dance floor filled fast, and of course, Steve Aoki, as a surprise special DJ, took the energy to another level before the night ended in a glowing sparkler send-off.

Garden Geometry
Set against the rugged desert landscape of Cascata Golf Club, this styled shoot envisioned by Liva & Co. and Sara Lunn Floral Studio embraced warm garden romance with an artful angle. A palette of citrus, layered greens, taupe, warm mocha and touches of lilac created a look that felt grounded yet fresh against the mountain backdrop. The invitation suite introduced the story beautifully, featuring botanical motifs in sage and golden hues that mirrored the textural floral elements woven throughout the day. The goal was simple. Rethink tradition without losing individuality. With Lianna Marie Photography behind the camera, every detail was captured with refined balance and depth, reinforcing that the photographer you choose ultimately defines how your celebration is experienced long after the day ends.

The ceremony design was bold and unforgettable. A striking checkered aisle cut across the lawn, its crisp geometry softened by lush arrangements of white Cymbidium orchids, yellow oncidium, pale hellebore, grasses and textured greenery lining each side. Coquette white chairs framed the setting, allowing the florals to feel as though they were growing organically from the landscape. The bride wore a sleek MWL Bride gown styled with delicate veiling, her look elevated with bold chartreuse heels adorned with playful feather detail that echoed the citrus tones in the palette. Her bouquet was airy and editorial, featuring wired white rose lilies, tulips and cascading hyacinth petals that added movement and softness. Meanwhile, the groom’s tailored brown suit grounded the look with warmth and refinement. As the florist, Sara Lunn, shared, “Together, the his and hers bouquets reinforced a modern, architectural sensibility that tied the entire design together with intention and artistry.”

For the reception, the celebration took place around an alfresco table styled to feel like a living garden. Long tables surrounded a dramatic meadow-inspired installation composed of green hydrangea, white double rose lilies, yellow tulips, oncidium and sculptural accents arranged in rhythmic layers. The florals appeared to rise from the center of the table itself, creating dimension from every angle. Layered linens, softly glowing lamps and candlelight added intimacy while maintaining the clean, architectural structure established at the ceremony. The cake drew inspiration from couture gowns, with flowing ribbon-like frosting wrapping each tier and delicate pink blooms climbing upward. Infused with pink champagne and filled with vanilla whipped cream and fresh strawberries, it made a statement from first look to final bite.

Kyra and Mark, back in the summer of 2022, met through mutual friends at a bar in Georgia. What started as a casual introduction quickly turned into the pair being inseparable. By January, Kyra made the move to Las Vegas, and just a few months later, Mark asked Kyra to be his wife while hiking the Cathedral Rock Trail at Mount Charleston, one of the very first places they explored together. Kyra shares, “We had reservations for Cleaver the next night so I thought he was going to propose then, but he ended up proposing on the top of the mountain.” After tying the knot in June of 2023, Kyra and Mark marked their anniversary in Lake Tahoe, a setting that captures their shared love for adventure and time spent outdoors together.
“Be each other’s best friends, communicate about everything, never let outside perspectives affect your own. Keep your problems private.”
