Spring ArtScene 2025 Friday, April 25: 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm & Saturday, April 26: 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm ArtScene, a Rockford tradition since 1987, is a biannual gallery walk, hosted by the Rockford Area Arts Council in April and October featuring new and established artists of the Rockford Region. Visitors to ArtScene are welcome at any of the 40 participating venues—there is no admission fee, and all are welcome. ArtScene offers a wide variety of art for purchase including paintings, sculpture, prints, photography, jewelry, quilts + fiber art, and more! Artists are available for conversation—sharing their unique approach and inspiration for their work. Surrounding restaurants and shops are open for your retail enjoyment and hunger solutions! There is a critical mass of locations in the city center with dynamic and compelling venues throughout the region. Art is often seen as unapproachable or inaccessible; the idea behind ArtScene is that art is a personal experience and extremely accessible!
