Dear Members and Guests,
May has arrived, and with it comes a full calendar and plenty of energy around the Club.
We’re looking forward to hosting Mother’s Day Brunch with you, always a meaningful day for many of our families. Closing out the month with our Memorial Day Scramble, one of the most enjoyable events of the season. We hope you’ll join us for both.
On the course, our team continues to focus on strengthening turf health. You’ll see ongoing work as we continue to push for more consistent playing conditions heading into summer. These improvements take time, but they remain a top priority each day.
This season, we anticipate a very busy tournament schedule. Many of these events support local nonprofits and their annual fundraisers, and we are proud to play a role in helping them succeed. We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we balance daily play with a full slate of events.
What used to feel like a quieter stretch of the year has turned into full steam ahead at the “ROCK”. The Club is active, engaged, and moving forward every day. Thank you for sticking with us through it all, your support means more than you know and is what continues to move Rockledge Country Club in the right direction.
As we head into summer, take advantage of the longer days, get out for a round, enjoy lunch at the Club, and don’t forget to spend some time on the pickleball courts.

May is here and we have officially entered our shoulder season as we head into summer. We have said goodbye to many of our seasonal members and guests and thank them for a great season of golf. Although April started slow with a few closed days due to rain, the month finished very strong and set another record for April, we are thrilled to see the activity on the course from our Members and Guests.
If you have not downloaded the new Rockledge App yet, this is a very easy way to manage your account and create reservations. Reservations can be made with as little as 3 clicks and 10 seconds and Members can manage your account, view charges, and make payments all from this tool. We will also be launching new features to this very soon that you will not want to miss!
Our PGA Junior League team is going strong, and the kids are in the hunt for another local title this year. Our team has a great mixture of returning and new players and the kids are improving each week and are having a blast. It is great to see the next generation of golfers developing their skills and enjoying the game. Also, for the Juniors, our summer camp schedule is set and Dalton will be conducting 3 sessions this June, with one of the sessions specifically designed for advanced players or for those preparing for high school or college golf.
In the golf shop, we will be carrying much less inventory as we head into summer, however we are still stocked up on all the essentials that you will need, we have a fresh selection of headwear, along with some new incoming shirts from Antigua and Footjoy. Also, keep your eyes open for fitting days that are upcoming as the top manufacturers continue to visit for fitting days monthly.
For the Lady golfers, we are thrilled to announce a new 18-hole association that will be joining Rockledge Country Club this coming fall! This group comes to us from another facility, has been established for many years, and has a wonderful group of leaders. The group will play on Tuesday Morning’s beginning in October 2026. This new league is open to join for our Rockledge Ladies and we have seen many sign up already, for information please visit the golf shop.

We just recently applied a product called Curfew to control nematodes in some of our weaker fairway areas. This product was injected into the turf as a liquid and then it volatilized to gas and spread through the soil profile. Ample water was applied to help keep the gas capped in the soil for as long as possible. These slits will heal in 3-5 weeks time.
An aerification to our cart path entrance and exit areas will soon take place. This is a process that helps alleviate compaction is areas of heavy traffic. It is necessary to allow for turf regrowth in these areas.
The first greens coring practice will be done on June 8th. Once again, these will be small tines because the Zoysia does not heal well with the larger tines.
