Dear Members and Guests,
Happy Fourth of July!
I hope you and your families have a wonderful holiday filled with time together, great golf, and lasting memories. This Independence Day is especially meaningful as our nation celebrates 250 years of freedom, resilience, and opportunity. It's a remarkable milestone, and I hope you'll join us in taking a moment to reflect on the generations who have shaped our country's history while celebrating with family, friends, and our Rockledge Country Club community.
Summer is always a busy and exciting time at Rockledge Country Club, and I wanted to take a moment to share a few updates with you.
First, I hope everyone has signed up for our annual Fourth of July Scramble! This event has become one of my favorite traditions because it's a chance to enjoy a fun day on the course with friends while celebrating our nation's birthday. I look forward to seeing many of you there.
I'm also excited about something new that I think will make your experience at the Club even better, our new Grab & Go app.
Convenience matters, and we want your time at RCC to be spent enjoying the Club, not waiting in line. With the app, you can order food and beverages right from your phone and even pay for your round of golf before you arrive. Whether you're heading to the first tee, making the turn, or grabbing something before you leave, it's all designed to make your visit easier. If you haven't tried it yet, I encourage you to download the app and give it a try.
Behind the scenes, our team continues to work hard every day to keep the golf course in great condition despite the summer heat. I'm incredibly grateful for the dedication of our maintenance staff, golf operations team, food and beverage staff, and every employee who works hard to make Rockledge Country Club a place we're all proud to call home.

Whether you're one of our valued members, a frequent guest, or visiting us for the first time, we are grateful you've chosen RCC to spend time with your family and friends. Rockledge Country Club
UPDATE
June featured a great start to our Summer Junior Programs. We had such great demand this year that we added another program to handle capacity, Coach Dalton and the rest of the team did a great job and created an exciting week for the kids. The last week in June and first part of July we will be conducting our final camps for the season.
Our fall instructional programs are getting finalized and will be released in the coming weeks. This year we will be having another Adult Operation 36 weekly instruction program, along with a Fall PGA Junior League season. Both programs will kick off in the early part of October and finish up in Mid-December before the Holidays, be on the lookout for this information or with any questions please out to the golf shop staff.
Summer rounds of golf have continued to be very strong as players are getting out and enjoying the wonderful condition of the golf course. This coming July 4 we will be having our Annual 4 of July Scramble with Men’s, Mixed, and Ladies divisions, we invite everyone to come out and enjoy a great day of golf. th th
If you have not downloaded the RCC new APP yet, I highly encourage you to do so. We have now added a new feature called order anywhere that allows you to conveniently order a limited menu selection from the Vue 18 and the food will be ready for pickup at the turn, we recommend ordering on the 7 hole for pickup at the turn or on the 16 hole if you want an order ready when finishing your round. th th
In the golf shop, we have received a new selection of Footjoy Shirts, along with some great looking Sun Hats as well to help keep the sun off. There are also still a few great buys left on the sale rack, make sure and check it out the next time in the shop
something presentable and playable. The green speed always slows down a little in the summer but we are always striving to make them role smoother and quicker when possible.
We will soon begin aerification of the fairways. We will remain open during this process, so we ask for your patience as we navigate through to completion. This is a very important procedure that helps to break up compaction in the soil and provide much needed oxygen to the roots. It also allows for better penetration of moisture through the soil to prevent water retention in the upper soil profile that leads to soggy conditions.
A supplemental greens aerification will also take place in July. This will be a non-invasive procedure that creates minimal entry points that shoots air down into the soil. This will not damage or affect the greens in a negative way at all.
Another spray application is also coming later this month. There will be a preemergent herbicide and a post-emergent herbicide applied to control weeds.
Finally, get out and enjoy America’s 250th birthday with some golfing fun! We look forward to a great holiday weekend and a summer full of golfing enjoyment!
