Nursing Pledge Before those assembled here today, I solemnly pledge; To adhere to the code of ethics of the nursing profession; I will care for individuals, families, and communities with compassion, respect, and dignity I will use my knowledge, skills, and judgment to provide safe, evidence-based, and equitable care to all who need it. I will respect the rights and privacy of those in my care and safeguard them from harm. I will faithfully collaborate with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team to promote health, healing, justice, and the greater good. I will continue to grow personally and professionally, upholding the highest standards of nursing. I make this pledge freely, with a commitment to honor the values of nursing and to advocate for those entrusted to my care.
